Hi,
I have had some success ranking video on YouTube, but they are a hit or miss. I can rank some fast and some not at all. I know SEO for youtube videos. Anyone know where i can get great back links to up the chances of hitting page one? I do notice on some not all i will hit page one and it falls after a week or so. I know to many back links is not good. How long should i wait before i hit it again? I hope im in the right place for this. Sorry if im not!! This is my first time.

When you're doing SEO, are you sending views/likes/comments to the videos as well?

No, I just do the SEO and back link the video. I don't want youtube ripping it down. Like I said I've had some great success. I can get to page 3 with most videos. I need more powerful links. The problem is I don't know where to go lol.

Aiming for page one on YouTube or Google?

A very detailed and keyword optimized description. Include the keywords in your title at least twice + tags too. Same goes with the video and image file name.

Lots of HIGH RETENTION views, video likes and comments

Subscribers driven through a videos watch page instead of the channel page. If people were to watch a video and click the subscribe button under the actual video, rather than the actual channel page, it ads more credibly to the video - making it rank higher

Social Signals
Google Plus shares and post +1's
Facebook shares
Twitter tweets
LinkedIn shares
Pinterest Pins

Blogspot embeds
LiveJournal embeds
Stumbleupon submits
Tumblr shares
Disqus comments
Reddit shares
Quora answers
Forum embeds
ect, ect, ect

Mix up the links

include some mobile links https://m.youtube.com/FsxxxxxiMg

Still questioning these 3 things...
Dislikes - seems they matter just about as much as likes and are completely pointless
Keywords in the comments - still experimenting... Doesn't seem to matter though, but looking for cheaper providers so I can test more
Backlinks - has only (sometimes) worked for Google ranks for me. Aside from the embeds that linked back to the actual video pages, I don't think ranking higher on YT had anything to do with them...But at the same time, I can't say for sure.

After all of that, I honestly have no idea though. I have ranked many of my YT vids this way recently. I can make it page 1~2 for some pretty popular search terms, but still can't even Trump my way to the top 5 results for the really popular shit.
