I was talking to a guy on FB group and he was saying using GSA blast or rankerx to hit his web 2.0s with lots of back links to increase link juice. Does this really work? Necessary to get back links for web 2.0s? Do Web 2.0s have any link juice without back links?

It's always good to get backlinks to your web 2.0's that is true, whether that still works using GSA i'm not entirely sure, i'm testing a few things, i'll hopefully be able to posta thread on my finding pretty soon.
 
That was the old way that worked years back, 100k shitty spammy links to your Web 2.0s which helped increase PR.
Better going for higher quality links now than all automated spammy ones.

What kind of links are good, I have 30 web 2.0s, I don't want to spend a lot of money.
 
Dependa on keyword strength, you can rank with web 2.0 and use spammy links for indexing purpose

However of yourself cometitors are using pbn, then you won't rank no matter how many links you are sending to web 2.0

So, the answer is it all depends on your competiton
 
you can use high-quality links from GSA .. they are still ok. Sure PNB links are better but a bit costly for tier web 2.0

Or just use expired web 2.0s and you don't have to bother about tier 2.
