Back Link Diagram Tutorial

I think this latest model is more about driving targeted traffic than concentrating link juice. I have found that closing the wheel is not all that important with regard to overall linkwheel effectiveness. Mainly, I just make a number of properties and articles, some rank and some don't. Those that do rank drive traffic to my money site. It's as simple as that.

Micallef is pretty much right on the money. I dont close any link wheel...personal preference. I dont like footprints so we vary everything we do to some degree.

The number of properties will vary as well. My best advice is to be consistent and submit lots of articles then bookmark them.

I would also suggest grabbing the rss feeds from the different properties you submit to and submit them to the various feed aggregates.

Its all about exposure

I usually create 1 gmail account for 1 keyword and all the web 2.0 properties connected to it. for example I have 1 gmail account for 200 web 2.0 properties targeting one specific keyword.
Then I bookmark them all the ping them as well.
Right after I finish with 1 keyword I start the whole process for the remain KW until I finish at least 10 targeted KW.

What's the benefit of having sub wheels not pointing to the money site ?

@ jvmarket:

I've been using PowerArticleRewriter to create spinnable articles like you described. Two variations of each original sentence (total of 3), then I go through the whole thing, and either synonymize or change as many 2 or 3 word phrases as I can.

The thing is, it takes me about a day or more to do each article. That seems like a crazy long time. Wondering if you had any additional tips to speed up the process, or is that how long you and your team spend on each article?

ha the great thing is i have a tool what makes linkwheels for me automaticly and also create account and solves captcha (=

I would never use gmail, yahoo mail, or msn mial when setting up a link wheel.

Remember, what is being built here is a blog farm. It's important not to leave any breadcrumbs for any of the search engines.

One big screwup that people make when setting these up is to drop adsense into any site in their farm that allows it. After all...if you're going to do the work setting it up, might at least glean some cash from the trickle-traffic, right?

Wrong!

Google need only connect the fact that the same Adsenes publisher ID is present on all the related sites and not only do you have a footprint, but you given their review team the keys to the kingdom.

Same goes with email accounts. It might seem paranoid to think that Google could scan Gmail and notice that dozens of Web 2.0 setup confirmations are all being sent to the same Gmail account...but that's the kind of precautions I would take. Why risk it?

Go with an email service that isn't associated with one of the big 3 search engines when setting these things up.

Hi JV, I am back into this thread, and I must say, it is one of the best going around :)

Question: What steps do you take to avoid footprints spanning your properties. I assume you use Wordpress for your money sites, and don't do any modifications to its CSS (?).

A bigger question for me, what kind of advertising you use to avoid footprints while making $money. I assume you don't use adsense (or the same adsense account), and instead use CJ and then run your CJ link into tinyurl or something like that (?) to further mask it.

Please advise. Thanks.

Can you prove any of what you are saying here? We've been doing most of what you say not to do for over a year now with no issues.

If these are just opinions then state that they are opinions so new folks can tell the difference between facts and opinion.

Its a pain in the ass..even when you outsource it the quality control is a pain. One a day is a good average...we have a lot of writers who create different parts...this helps.

We are testing a slightly different process and if it works we'll be changing to it. will cut the time in half.

One thing to remember...if done right though you can take two spun versions of your article and put them side by side and not tell they are from the same seed version.

Thats one of the reasons our wheels never close...we also change the wheels for is submission. So the properties will link to different properties each time we submit a content package.

We use the same adsense acct. We just use different ad channels.

We also use multiple class c IP addresses

We cookie stuff our own blogs with redirected links using a flash script. Some of our older stuff has links going directly to affiliate offers but all new sites are stuffed. Makes it harder to detect.

think thats about it

Hi guys - just researching my first linkwheel project and have a noob question...

Where exactly do you place the two links (i.e. one to your next web 2.0 + one to your target page)? looks like some people imbed them directly within the content using html and some place them within the profile page of the web 2.0 account. Whats the best way to place the links to ensure you get the best benefit?

Thanks.

takeachance,

I put the links directly into the blog post content. I make sure the keyword phrase is in the first paragraph of the article and the last paragraph of it as well. I'll then anchor the top keyword phrase to the money site, and the bottom one to the next site in the link wheel. (or vice-versa)

You can try to play around with having only one link in the content and the other in the blog roll or whatever...but I don't feel's that an effective strategy. Word on the street is that Google can tell the difference between a blogroll link and an in-context link and awards more points to the later.

Thanks MichinganManiac - thats nice and clear, I will give this a go and hopefully will see some results pretty soon.

We put 2 anchor text links in the body...1 anchor text link and one url in the resource box. Except for those sites like ezinearticles that dont like that many links.

JV i am having alot of trouble making back links what programs do u use to make links other than blog comments... i need like forum and group post.. etc...

let me also ask thos 2 links in the body of the content do u have both pointed to the laturl of the linkwheel or 1 of the links pointed to the money site

Can anyone enlighten me RE:

http://www.mysite... or http://mysite.....

I understand google treat links to these 2 versions as different. So if u have backlinks to both versions, you are watering down your link juice.
I notice if you set up a page on a site like weebly, it automatically appears as: http://mysite...

So is it best to always link back to the version that automatically appears when you first create the page, or to always use the full http://www.mysite?

Cheers
