Back in 2013 I discovered blackhatworld, and I have been a lurker ever since. I spent 3 years just reading, switching from method to method, thinking I was getting nowhere.

I realised what value this forum creates, because out of all my failed ventures (100+) I gained experience. I didn't fail, rather learnt what not to do, while chasing my goal of a laptop lifestyle.

Since 2 years ago I started a business in email marketing, and now I have a company turning over $600 daily with ~18 employees. Well, I DID at least.

Today I got a call from PayPal. They have deemed by business model high risk because I sell a data service, which isn't covered by their buyer protection program. They SHUT DOWN my account!

Now I am, today, left with no single way to receive payments from my 160+ clients in my business, as I have no backup payment processor available to instantly replace paypal.

I have finally come out of the dark to ask you members of BHW, what would you do?

What switch would you make to what processor?

I'd appreciate if someone had any insight into this! Maybe someone in eCommerce that sells digital products. What did you do when paypal struck down on you? Or have they not yet?

If you're business is legit, look at someone like Worldpay as a payment processor.

Yes it's a solid business, I sell off 4000 targetted web leads per day to various customers. My paypal issue is how the money moved.

Each of my salespeople have thier own paypal account, so they can do their own invoicing. Of course I don't want them logging into my acocunt right?

Then when they get the sale, they send the entire amount to me. I then draw that into South Africa as Rands and pay them their commission.

I guess paypal saw the irregular movemend of money between accounts and that looked like laundering?

They're quick to clamp down, especially if it's decent size amounts.
First time we ran a big conference they locked the account ( despite it being a verified, business account) as we suddenly had about £80k roll in over 9 days.
They then said as it was event tickets we were selling (which was not true) this was the issue incase people wanted to chargeback months down the line, as the event was 11 months away.

    Hope you get it sorted.

    1. As your business is established, Make live chat support 24/7, use PayPal with friends and family transfer. Don't put it on your site as a service payment.
    2. If you are facing problem to get credit card payment then use stripe, WaveApp, Quickbooks or same system which you feel good.
    3. Use Skrill, Neteller, Payoneer-Manual Invoicing.

Thanks for all the replies! I'm glad to hear this event isn't as earth-shattering as it seems. Sure I can't generate any turnover for a couple days, but long term other processors probably offer much better rates than paypal...

You're right. Particularly for me it's because my weekly withdrawals are becoming higher and higher. From drawing $250 a week I made a withdrawal of $1600 for the week, as I had scaled recently. This single withdrawal opened an investigation into my account, and while on call with PP they closed the accounts and hung up!
Honestly I think Friend&Family transfers played a large part in what happened to me, because my salespeople transfer their sales turnover to me like this... and I now learnt that's against PayPal business account terms.
You're saying they can accept paypal payments -- and transfer the paypal turnover to me in some other way?! Receiving PayPal payments into 2Checkout as a third party withdrawal service?? Or would I only be able to withdraw PayPal payments received to my PayPal Account? I feel as though you've used them before.

-- PS @BassTrackerBoats THANK YOU! Honestly, it was one of your posts that 3 years ago to date generated my first online income! I had scaled one of your methods doing mass facebook posting in niche groups! Thanks again buddy, you're a hero!
Thanks for the info! I'll check it out :)

I have several accounts with them.

They accept PP and credit cards on your behalf and once a week ACH the money to your bank account.

Thank you very much for the help @BassTrackerBoats this is honestly just what I need!

How on earth 2Checkout deals with PayPals disputes is beside me, and that's fine by me!

Checking them out now, since I'm a resident of South Africa not USA hope it's the same.

Thank you all for your support and welcoming arms!

I have sent in requests to 2Checkout and now also Stripe. I'll keep this thread posted! If 2Checkout can do what I think it can, I'll be scaling allot very soon.

Maybe I should open a journey thread for this?

Not sure if this is something you would consider but you could always use crypto currencies and transfer methods to get payments, and they might go up in value too :)

I've definitely considered it! I love working with bitcoin, I'm registered on Luno exchange currently.
The only issue raised is that 99% of my client base is used to just paying with PayPal, I'd need a way to convince everyone to take the extra step of going to marketplaces and buying cryptocurrencies... I don't know I just feel I will lose allot of customers that way!
