AWS misusage query

Hi,
My account got hacked on aws and now i see i have to pay 5k$ approx, clearly I have frozen my credit card.
Do you think there will be legal action taken if i am in india somwhere.

If you left your API key in something you pushed to Github publicly, posted to AI and managed to be found, or left it public in something that's live... There's not much you can do dude, there's a million warnings about these kinds of thinsg

What will happen now ? Just wandering
 
There's a high chance you won't get reimbursed. If I was you, I would still take take the time to properly and carefully explain the situation to AWS through a support ticket because there they do make exceptions (happened in my personal circle once). But if you clearly messed up on an individual account and didn't take time to at least the basics of AWS billing, yeah you're out of luck.
 
They will deduct the money when your card is activated, or if they take any legal action, in which case you must make the payment, you can wait until they take legal action.
 
They will keep trying your credit card associated with the account if they will charge it. Why not contact there support and let them know about it, you might get help.
