Awesome Adsense Journey

I've found that creating a solid website with good content and traffic is the easier part, but monetizing with adsense is tough. Do you have any advice on improving ad location? I receive about 750+ visitors on one of my websites but
only get about two dollars per day from it.
It really depends on your CPC(cost per click) for those ads as well. Make sure to filter out any bad advertisements.
As for ad placement, I will probably start off with a rectangle above the text (above the fold as Google calls it), a right side bar and an ad under the content. But this is just how I will start off, as I plan to experience and see which placements are most profitable.
If you really cannot monetize with adsense, consider other monetizing methods. That's what I would do anyway, but it solely depends on the niche.

Good luck with your journey! You state that you are lazy but smart, but trust me, IMers never make it far with just the "smarts". You have to be willing to work your butt off! Don't give up if things aren't going well!
I'm working Vonais, and I won't give up. Ever. :-) I'm in this to win it!

Thanks for the support guys:-)

Hello OP! Finally a fellow romanian into AdSense. I will follow your journey closely.

Stay motivated and the money will come :)

Last few days I just kept on writing articles and adding them to the website as new pages. I had to edit some code in order to enable TAGS for pages but I finally did it, and now the tags show up on every page. I read that tags can bring along some SEO benefits, so I thought it was a good idea to add them as well.
As for linkbuilding I managed to submit my website on various website-directory websites (free ones atm), as well as submitted some articles to article directory websites. This should help a lot with SEO.

Going to go ahead and order a SEO service off this forum - I won't be telling you which for the moment, as I do now have the guarantee that it will actually help, so I don't want to be seen as someone promoting things that do not work.
Currently got 21 articles up on my website, each being 700-2000 words. Google index 25 pages up until now, but yahoo/bing are being stubborn, and they only indexed about 5 pages or so.

For some odd reason I cannot seem to rank in Google. Maybe it is because my website is still quite new. Oh well, I'm patient, no need to rush things :-)
