I think one good way to avoid spam threads is to limit new thread creation to newbies with under 15 posts only to the introduction section, and allow only replies to existing threads until they reach 15 quality posts? Too many people coming up with black magic solutions to Love problems.

Some fugly ass guys in the locale this is addressed in, kind of believes that with the help of some black magic they can get prettier girls to fall for them. But pretty boys like me and @howard_hughes and @pofigy don't really have to rely on that

If we implement that thing, Spammers (Baba's, Enhancement people) will do comment spamming and the genuine people will struggle to post the queries because they would require to get 15 counts first.
I don't think it would be a great idea to implement (if I think from newbie's point of view as we all were a newbie once) & regarding Baba's, we can show some magic tricks to them(not a love solution though) but for that we need help from you guys with the report button

Surely then newbies will spam the introduction section with " welcome " that they copied and pasted from the previous " welcome ", just to reach 15 posts

As for @SoccerLover 's point, BHW could rate limit the number of posts a brand new member can make.. like 1 post every 30 minutes may be?

Well in case you haven't noticed, these spammers come in with multiple accounts, so 30 accounts is still 1 post every minute.

Hmm do they? I saw max 2 accounts at once but may be you are right. They might start doing that very soon.
