Many of you might now the infamous sentence that is most common when a Channel gets suspended:
'This account has been terminated due to multiple or severe violations of YouTube’s policy against spam, deceptive practices and misleading content or other Terms of Service violations'
Now, I had several Channels suspended in the past, one had 5 Million Daily Views, this hit really hard of course but I learned a thing or two from it.
The Channel wasnt actually violating any terms of service or things stated above, it was a Channel around Uploading others people Content WITH signed permission to use and partially monetize Peoples Content.
So either people must have reported the Channel and it was manually suspended or it was hit by some Spam Algorithm filter and was suspended Automatically?
Im pretty sure before a Channel is suspended there is always a Trusted Flagger reviewing the Channel before suspension but how do you think a Channel gets sucked into the 'Getting reviewed for termination' Queue?
From my experience you should avoid these avoid at all cost to avoid termination:
- Lower the Chance to get reported as much as possible (Less Clickbait, less missleading, no blackhat content)
- Dont link a flagged Adsense Account to the YouTube Account
- Avoid getting third party claims, if you have xx-xxx Claims you will get Monetization and eventually Channel suspended
Now its your guys' turn, what else do you think is crucial to do / not to do to avoid getting your Channel suspended other than the obvious (like tag spam in description etc.) and the points mentioned above?
