Avid Learner Here. Some Great Content on BHW!

Hello.

Rather new to the world of SEO, but joined BHW after reading some recent threads on PBNs. Anxious to ask questions there.

I've been reading many outside websites, but it is hard to discern hype, outdated info, misinformation, and scams from real, practical, and actionable advice. BHW seems to have a community that vets out much of the bad stuff and zeros in on the good.

Hope to eventually get to the position of being able to contribute more than I learn, but as my handle implies, I like to learn and try out stuff.

REQUEST: I've only just begun to explore BHW (so, might have missed an obvious link), but would appreciate suggestions for the most up to date threads that a noob ought to check out.

Welcome to BHW, nice username by the way

Check the sticky threads in each section, especially money making. They will lead you to some really good information and dozens of separate threads about different methods, case studies and such.

Thanks! Thought I'd have a name that reflects where I am at in all this...immunize others in case I ask the occasional "dumb question".

Already started on a few, but will go deeper into the stickies and focus on money making specifically. I also found some "noob start here" threads with other links. No doubt there may be overlap, but that is okay.

Avid Learner, you are right as there are some things here that do not work for various reasons and thus I suggest you become Avid Tester as that is a large part of being an Avid Learner in IM.

Indeed I've noticed the same thing. However, I always find it hard to wrap my head around the idea that so many people who (not trying to be offensive here at at all) essentially make a living of of scamming people would then go and post in helpful and clear formats the very methods they use to scam, for FREE.

I guess it could just be the awesome community (but this has meta overtones) and a result of us as human's natural desires to share our current endeavors and be altruistic to a point, but alas I always find it hard to overcome a sense of skepticism whenever reading things here; the adage of avoiding things that are too good to be true seems (to me at least) particularly applicable on a forum of full scammers discussing scamming (again sorry don't mean anything offensive by using the word scammer, it just has a negative connotation I guess )

But then again after a few months of lurking I have to agree with your sentiments on the awesomeness of the authenticity of the various methods and tips shared here, and I certainly look forward to contributing quality information I learn throughout my, as is popular to say around here, "journey". You guys rock!
