Thanks,
Can you give me an idea / some sort of benchmark on PR domains pricing?
lol at those prices expect shit domains. frankly a good PR6 would cost you around $1000. A great PR6 even more.
No you don't, stop spreading incorrect information.
I've bought 3 high PR domains on DP in the last month, here is what happened...
PR3 - $20 - maintained ranking after PR update, everything looks good with it
PR3- $20 - dropped to PR0 after update, but luckily ALN hasn't noticed this yet
PR4 - $55 - seller tried to scam, still fighting with paypal to get my money back
Summary: don't buy from DP![]()
There's no such thing. I use something called a "PR point" to measure PR - it is a linear measure as opposed to the exponential PR. PR point system is like this:
PR0: 1 prp
PR1: 2 prp
PR3: 4 prp
PR4: 8 prp
PR5: 16 prp
PR6: 32 prp
PR7: 64 prp
PR8: 128 prp
PR9: 256 prp
PR10: 512 prp
As you see, a PR6 could be 33prp or 63prp. That's equivalent of several PR1-5 domains. In other words is it a low PR6 or a high PR6? A difference of 1PR is double from previous PR. That can be huge for a PR6 site. Is like two PR5 sites.
Aside from that is the question of WHY IS IT PR X? How many links it has from how many IPs/domains/subnets, how many great links it has, how many authority, etc? Equally important, how many inner pages have PR and what PR is that? If you have a PR6 with 50 PR5 inner pages, 100 PR4 and 300 PR2 then it is worth shitloads of money.
Buying high PR sites is an art. While most buy crap to sell blog posts on a high PR net, if you want to buy for yourself it is an art and a costly art!
