Hey guys,
I know many people here are seo experts and know a lot more than any other guys out there :)
My question: Does manual link building has any advantage over automatic link building?
Does it really matter to google, and help us rank better in search engine?
Share your opinion please :)

Usually manual link building looks more natural. However, automated link building can look natural if scheduled at varying increments throughout the week or month.

Hmm,is scrapebox the only way for automatic link building?

Nope..

there are hundred of software for automatic backlinks.

scrapebox
xrumer
ulimate demon
senuke
GSA

these are some well known tools.. search the forum and you will find plenty of others

I have 6+ years of professional seo experience. Believe it or not I can say automated link building is many, many, many times more effective and faster than manual methods.

The only challenging aspect is that you must devise your strategies and automation levels in such a way that the growth appears to be natural. You must be able to simulate the virility effect near perfectly. AKA. make it appear as though your site has gone viral.

As just one example, I have ranked a:

- 135K exact match
- extreme competitive niche
- only few day old domain

In just 8 days! @ Position #3

Automatic backlinking works, but it definitely has a lot more pitfalls, especially with the recent Panda and Penguin updates. Personally I'm a fan of manual backlinking, but I definitely see the appeal of automatic. My sites use a variety.

automatic link building will make your life more easy.

I do believe in manual link building but of course not 100% by hand. I do use the other software to help speed up the process but the content is always typed by me after reading the threads, topic to make sure it will stick and i will be penalized by Google.

Thanks for the advice.I appreciate it :)

Manual link building is better for sites. It is done by using off page techniques. In Automatic link building softwares and tools are used which is not good for your site.

It takes a lot of effort for manual link building..

As 'the_demon' says above, automated systems and link-building can work VERY well...

The bottom-line is, not which is 'better', but which is necessary. If you intend to make a living out of online marketing/ecommerce then you will have very little choice but to automate. Sure, you could hire a bunch of VA's to do manual work for you, but they'll need a bunch of tools to make their time more efficient as well.

It's all about LEVERAGE. You can spend 10 man-hours manually building content & links, or you can spend 10 man-hours creating/using a system that will multiply those efforts massively.

It's really not a matter of choice... Ask ANY online marketer who's making $100k+ p.a. (i.e. has a relatively strong handle on what works) and I'd be gobsmacked if you find anyone who's doing manual link-building (with the exception of manually built 1st tier ranking-assets.)

If you are a beginner try manual link building and check the results monthly, you will learn how to find sites where you can build links, where you can find good content, and lot more about SEO. If you start with automated link building tool, you just buy a software, set it up like in the manual and press start, you won't learn much from this.
