Automatic Redirection in Shopify

Hey mate,

I have been facing an issue for the last 2 weeks related to automatic redirection. My client deleted his blog section in Shopify and I was working on redirecting all those err that are being generated to the relevant pages. I fixed some but after a few days, I see all those pages that are showing 404 errors are being redirected to the homepage automatically.

I am confused about what the problem is there. Is it an app that is redirecting all those URLs to the homepage? What should I do to stop automatic redirection?

not familiar with Shopify, but if it's like Wordpress (in the sense that it uses plugins), it could be a SEO plugin that's doing the redirection of broken (404) pages... Or it could be the CDN (if you use one), I think one of these 2 is the problem...

Thanks mate, I resolved my problem by deactivating an app in the Shopify. An option was enabled that's why all those URLs were being redirected to homepage automatically.
