Autoblogs - Why so much BS about them?

Your ebook would be of interest to me.
I know autoblogging works and as you say it's the time taken and knowledge of how to set them up and in which niche etc.
Spend a few hours doing this properly and reap the benefits.

People forget.....you are sellnig to real people. It's not all about automation and high tech gadgets. You have to appeal to real people. I serioulsy think the Net is amok with sellers. Like a market place where everyone has astall...where are the customers?

Am confused, what OP is trying to say.
In favour of Autoblogs or Against - Not enough patience to read one by one post.
Though as per me - If you know how to make autoblogs and how to make money from it - They are the best money making machine, Flipping autoblogs are quite profitable now a days.
I don't claim that everyone can make money via it - But yes, I can and am making a very good income, thus nobody is Master of all but can be jack of all trades.
I did a lot of research in autoblogs and completely deny that autoblogs can't make money. No offense, but I have tested it so can't take it as wrong.

LOL 5 pages is a lot to read. I'm 100% in favor of autoblogs. The are many uses for them one just has to think outside the box.

As for the book its not a mental block but a time block. Right now most of my time is spent with our employees (trying to change that)

We are also putting together a micro continuity program on the autoblog concept but it will not be marketed that way. As the content gets created for that I'll have someone condense it down to a short how to.

The problem with short how to's is that they are based on someone have a certain amount background knowledge of the subject to be able to use them.

Here is the current list of plugins we are using...before anyone ask, I dont know all the particulars for each plugin because we outsource the building of the blogs.

I can't wait to read this ebook. I have been reading around here trying to get my bearings. It is a dizzying thing to know nothing about IM and then get thrown into a site with so many acronyms it isn't even funny. I was thinking about autoblogging as a way to start out making a little money but even though it looks easier than other forms of IM, it still isn't a walk in the park when you are totally new to IM. I have so many things bookmarked to read it is staggering. I need to just take a day and sit down and read. But anyways, I look forward to reading your ebook when it comes out and perhaps by that time I will know enough to pick your brain a little.

forgot I needed to update this thread....I had to finish the info up on linkwheels before I could get started here and I had another product finish before that.

The linkwhell one is just about complete...if interested send me a pm

the ebook on autoblogs has evolved to something much larger...there will be an ebook come out of it...maybe even a print copy as well but before that gets finished I'll have the videos done.

It's easier for me to create the video tutorials than it is to write the book so thats where I'm at.

sorry to keep draggin this out but we are getting here

hey JV,

Just a few questions. Have you ever got banned from Adsense for displaying duplicated content on your autoblogs? If not, how do you get around it? Do you rewrite the articles on the fly automatically or do you only post a snippet of the articles?

Thanks!

I got banned from google adsense. I have 30 domain names and more than 50 blogs, I used auto social poster to drive traffic to my blogs.

I managed these blogs for 6 months, I got banned, and I only received $484!

Compare to traffic arbitrage I did in 2 years ago, autoblog's CTR is about 1/50 of arbitrage method, and I got banned after 6 months managed autoblogs, also I got banned from arbitrage method in 6 months, but the difference is, I made about $10,000 pure profit from arbitrage method, but I made ONLY $100 from autoblogs because I registered 30+ domain names!

I think autoblog is a very bad idea for making money from adsense! Seriously, Google doesnt like auto blogs!

no...we have not had our adsense acct banned. We do not post the same articles from the same sources to different blogs.

the only time we've had any issues is when we misuse the tools we are using to build or promote a site. We've had sites de-listed by google...multiple bookmarking accts banned and so on. But that is a result of getting careless (or test that we run).

Of course Google does not like auto blogs...if all you do is take an article from some place and put it on your site you "have not added any value" add some value for your visitors to your sites and google just might like you a little more.

I have read your blog before, and I think my blogs might better than that and I dont trick visitors when they want to click a text link.

There is something going wrong, and I dont know what it is. I did follow the auto blog method on BHW. I didnt do anything not mentioned on BHW's posts.

And I notice that you are a team, so you should have seveal accounts.

I am a newbie here in BHW. BUt I have been doing AutoBlog since June of this year. I have spent the past three days reading the whole thread regarding autoblogs (yours, shylesson, and nikhilg).

I can easily grasp and relate about topics such as basic keyword research, wordpress installation, plugins for automation and stuffs. However, the promotion and traffic generation is what I find lacking.

Well, I have searched and read the thread regarding website promotion. Some interesting plugin is the Auto Social Poster and OnlyWire plugin which I didn't know that existed. I used to manually "onlywire" my autoblog posts.

Then, I stumbled upon PR Storm which looks pretty neat but I have yet to try it to be honest . I also have a decent linkwheel that I have outsourced to someone.

I do get like 20 to 30 hits per day but I don't get any clicks so I converted it to a ReviewAzon site hoping to get some sales. But all I got are clicks from 21 visitors.

Please help me what I am doing wrong?

Hi...

Not sure how I can help you. The first thing I would say is that you still have not gotten enough traffic to really tell if it is going to work or not.

When we build a site each page has a specific goal...the goal may be to get an adsense click, an optin or a click to an amazon, ebay or clickbank product. Most people build sites with multiple monitezation methods all over the page. I'm not saying that is wrong because I've heard of folks making good money that way...it's just not the way we do it.

Back links are the lifeblood of any site. Autoblogging by itself will not get you backlinks but bookmarking the posts will.

Autoblogs work because you can target longtail keywords that are very easy to rank for so your pages show up. Its important to understand what an autoblog can do for you and what it can not. Most people have no clue how to properly set up or utilize an autoblog.

We use autoblogs to make adsense income but also to help promote our minisites.

This is probably not the answer your were looking for but its the best I can give having not seen your site or what you are doing.

jvmarket. You are awesome. that is all. Can't wait to read anything you might leave for us. :D Keep doin' what you do man. I don't know why, but the way you typed up especially that first post seemed like I was having a conversation with one of my pals hahah.

jvm,
Are your ABs human readable? Or does that matter to you. My gues is yes it does on the money (opt in, whatever) blogs but no on link blog?
If the former, are they auto blogs or hand made? If auto how?
Jack

Autoblog and money sites are all human readable. there are plenty of ways to build good readable autoblogs.

Do note most of the people on this board that aren't making money are the people that jump from popular method to popular method. Popular method being the next big thing as some of you call it. Its the people that stick with one till they master it and then work on a second one and build accordingly into multiple streams of income. This is something I think many of you will understand if you think about it.
Cheers

Yea stick to a revenue model and stick to it.My main revenue model is adsense and i never had made a dime with affiliate sales.Makes $124/day
from adsense.Read something create a plan and keep doing it.again, again, again and again

Autoblogs work because you can target longtail keywords that are very easy to rank for so your pages show up.

How do I target long tail keyword if the content are from other blog or some source instead of writing by myself?

I mean even you find some long tail keyword not supposed there are articles from RSS feed or source contain the keyword you want to target.

depending on your keyword you can find rss feeds....you can also use rss2blog to post content to your blogs...lets say I scrape content for used cars...lots of articles on used cars.

Lets say you long tail keyword is "private sellers used cars" search and replace all the scraped content change out "used cars" for "private sellers used cars"

thats a very simplistic explanation....but I think it covers the concept.

I'm going to start creating a series of videos answering questions on autoblogs and linkwheels.

If you have any questions (even if they have already been answered somewhere in this or other threads) please post them here or send me a PM.

I'm hoping this will help me to answer the questions that people have on these topics.

j

I setup my first, test autoblog a couple weeks ago and it gets about 20 uniques a day with absolutely no promotion whatsoever, but no revenue due to the shitty rewriting plugin I'm using and most definitely the theme as I look at it more and more. At least I think that's what the problem is.

But to me, the BS is in the inability for people who have no idea on how to do keyword research and other real basic stuff are flooding these threads with useless questions that pretty much kill the info sharing.

Just like with cookie stuffing, the fucking newbie bullshit kills it and they kill method after method with idiotic comments and blind action. Action is good, but blindly...please take that long walk off a short plank - thank!

It is a toss up with BHW with keeping doors open/closed to public registrations. I'm just tired of seeing threads start out good, but here comes the fuckers...

"Keyword research? when do I do that?"

"Can you tell me how to install this plugin?"

"What is FTP?"

"Thanks, this is really good information I'm starting right now."

God, just shut the fuck up and use Google and a thanks button instead of congesting a good thread with is 18/20 pages of "thanks, you're awesome for that share" and "What is fantastico?"

wow well I feel silly, Im a newbie and I was warned about people like you on here so I keep my stupid questions to myself and search for the answers on my own, but damn take it easy will ya.

lol interesting post....and quote.
