As the thread says, are they still viable?

I just read this thread here. It is interesting and actually it seems possible. I know Google hammered down on the auto blogs but auto blogging with porn seems like a good idea.

What do you think would this work with lets say XX auto blogs?

it doesnt works.. dont waste your time on that buddy!

You can sort of do the same thing with tumblr and I've heard that works.

1. Pick a niche, get followliker, and use queue+ to automatically post for you.
2. Once followliker starts working it's magic and you start getting some followers, open up an Amazon Affiliate store.
3. Promote your store in all your posts.
4. Profit, then scale.

Like anything else, you have to twist it, the better the twist the greater your success ;).

I don't think you can have a lot of success if you strictly follow the OP guide on the other thread. But there is gold in the basic model itself of identifying a complicated workflow, and automating. While auto-blogs of the nature displayed in that thread aren't very successful anymore - there are still MANY things one can do with an auto-blog that easily scale into more current models/methods.

For example, many of us are probably still making money with Porn Auto-Blogs following Reinstecker's thread. It's still a lot of work, and you have to work some twists, but to a certain extent auto-blogging can still generate income.

i have 6 autoblogs, i dont care what anyone says, i have 6 blogs with thousands of quality posts on them people without a doubt are going to read. 6 blogs to make money from. i link them on all my sites

it doesnt matter what anyone says, you got blogs making money, of course they work, its better content than youll probably have yourself

thanks for the idea, i think ill start a couple softcore blogs

I always get a kick out of these silly "Autoblogs are dead" posts and replies.

Autoblogs are certainly not dead. In fact, the web is full of viable business models that revolve around the monetization of automated content and/or data aggregation.

What definitely is dead is deploying shitty looking WordPress blogs using crappy plugins and expecting to make bank.
