I'm at a cross-roads... I was making over $100 per day with my server on SEO-host and all my autoblogs but they kept crashing ALL THE TIME!

I canceled my service and have been looking for a new hosting area.

I am considering hosting my blogs in a cloud, however there is the problem that you have to manually install wordpress and I have over 120 blogs...

I need a c-panel backend and a server that can handle excess wp-cron jobs.

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!

shared at hostgator is the best, but for 120 blogs i consider VPS or dedicated (hostgator also)

for autoblog , use hostgator reseller or vps (vps its better)
for install a bunch of wp sites use cpanel/imacros
i have install more than 300 wp site in less than 24 hours with imacros
cheers !

I have had bad experiences using hostgator for autoblogs. You might want to try hostnine.com and get a reseller account which lets you create accounts across multiple data centers (and IP addresses!). It's a very cheap solution and great for SEO, but if you have any blogs that are way too big, they will likely get suspended because it is shared hosting.

Another solution is amazon EC2, but you need to know how to set up a linux server. The cool thing about that is that you can get one micro instance for free for the first year and you can easily grow your capacity. Also, you can request as many IP's as you need for free.

Another solution is rackspace sites (http://www.rackspace.com/cloud/cloud_hosting_products/sites/). You get lots of power and it is easy to manage, but you only get one IP address and it costs $150/month.

I would go VPS unless you're good with hosting and linux stuff. Cloud solutions are nice but you need expertize. I was looking also for something similar - for similar reasons- lots of WP blogs :) and I decided for managed VPS. It was the most cost effective solution for me.

I want to do cloud but i don't know enough to setup the server... I like the hostgator vas option, is anyone else using it?

I am using NETFIRMS Hosting for autoblogging hosting platform. And it never crashed. Although, I am not having over 100 blogs etc! Can you guide me with the autoblogging also!

I am curious about this as well. I need a place as well to grow.

Clau82 were are you hosting and how much is it?

I have a batch of 20 autoblogs that was making $50/day until it appears I got banned from articlesbase because too many requests from same ip?

Is this possibly the reason?

I too am looking for good autoblog hosting with lots of different ip's so I can still grab content from article networks.

Thanks.

Dedicated seems to be the way to go... Anyone have any recommendations?

Guys blogs needs resources...
dedicated is the best option. if anyone wants a CHEAP POWERFUL dedicated let me know
i can also help with installing everything on it for a CHEAP price ;)

cloud = resources on demand. need another server? no problem. it only takes 2 minutes to setup another machine running cpanel, virtualmin, anything you want. rackspace and gigenet run good clouds. cloud is a dedicated server 2.0

VPS is not just about RAMS & CPU resources they always put more limits.. don't forget the server it self is shared between a lot of clients running VPS & in each there's many things running. so they put UPC limits to make sure nobody is abusing or effecting others VPS.

Dedicate is the only way to have something good. i don't even make that $100 per day like GoogleMarketing101 but i have my own dedicated with 16G rams & 4quad AMD processor & 2 x 1.5TB HDD. & the price is under $100/month ;)

I just signed up with Hostgator's vps, I spoke with them and if there is too much pull they cover the transfer of all files onto a dedicated server. I couldn't find another reliable host that offered a C-panel backend with the wordpress one click install, which I need.

Which level u selected?

i tired a VPS which was 2G rams before & i don't run more than 20blog. wasn't enough :x

I picked the 2g ram also, I'm anticipating increasing pretty quickly... I just wanted to get everything setup

For best results and footprint cover from google, you should not maintain more than 20 autoblogs per VPS hosting.

I have hundreds of autoblogs with different types of content - whitehat, greyhat, blackhat, etc. I separate those blogs into different IP's, maintain 10 blogs per IP.
