Another confusing part for me are the Stumbleupon/ Reddit tricks.

How do you deal with all that when you have like a hundred autoblogs up?

Do I have to have one Stumbleupon/ Reddit account per autoblog?

How often are those tricks necessary (the idea of the autoblog is set and forget!).

also how to get WPomatic to post automatically? I added all the RSS feeds and its been over a day and a half but it still hasnt posted anything, is theres something you have to do to get it going? Also adbrites ads arent really ads, it just says insert ad here, what am I missing :(
 
Cool, after reading this thread. I created my first autoblog. I started using Blogger, while testing Blogger decided to suspend my account for too much use of their API for posting. So I then used Wordpress using a .Net wrapper for post content. Now these contents are all coming from different feeds, so nothing is original really. It's running now, and not making any money yet...let's see after a week.

as i don't know a sh*t about rss, i'd like to know what exactly should i copy past into a notepad ... what exactly is a rss feed? LOL ...
 
Are you getting SEO traffic with all these dup content? Or is SEO not the point here?

I have made two auto blogs in the past, one from about 10 RSS feeds and another with Goarticles and both ended up in supplemental hell with dup content.

Saw your guide on auto blogs and just want to say thank you for all the info in there but there are a few things that i need to ask.

1. Do auto bloggers get into trouble for plagiarism if the original author found out about it? I mean basically we're just stealing other people's content and claim as our own.

2. Let's say i created 500 auto blogs and added adsense ads from the same adsense account in every one of the blogs, what are the chances of Google screwing up my adsense account?

3. Aside from Etology, will Google ban my adsense account if i buy traffic from other people/sites?


1. Add 2 feeds at time do not add tons of feeds at one time because there is a bug in WP-0-Matic, most of the time it crashes if you are leeching from a lot of feeds, sometimes it does not crash but it posts the same thing 9-10 times. That is the downfall of WP-0-Matic that once in a while if you put lots of feeds it even if you tell it to leech only 10 articles it will leech the 10 articles but will make 9 posts or more of each post. So in essence you will have 90 articles instead of 10, so make sure you don't go more than 2 feeds. Just in case the bug happens you can delete the duplicate posts.

4. Do you mean that WP-o-Matic can only handle 2 feeds without going crazy and it's best not to add anymore feeds ever?

1/ Yes you can get into trouble for that, but usually you'll just receive an mail asking to shut down you website.

2/ Your adsense can be banned for sure "real"/crappy autoblogs should be used for linkwheel afaik. You could use multiple other advertisers
 
so this is an arbitrage method? buying traffic to land on blog in hopes they click ad's?
 
No, the purpose of this is mostly to get traffic from search engines, and then monetize it with ads (or create backlinks)
 
Could you guys tell me please where i have to add the adbrite html code into the single post code and how I have to change the css style sheet that the ads get shown as described in the guide.

Just be careful, I used WP-o-Matic with hostgator hosting and they shut my account down saying that I had spamming software on my hosting. I told them that I didn't have any kind of software like that then they said it maybe an old script or something.

So after I uninstalled it, they said that mu account was all clear. Weird right?
 
I'm having trouble with my first autoblog, and as I utilized your methods I'm hoping someone here may be able to assist me. The blog has been up and running for awhile now, and tied to a related Twitter account that auto tweets with each new post. I have a little over 360 followers on Twitter and that's where most of my traffic comes from. I need to drive more traffic, but I noticed a major problem this morning and need to fix it first.

Some of the posts disappear from the blog shorty after they are posted (and subsequently Tweeted) therefore, many of the links back to my blog from twitter all end up with 404 errors. I'm using WP Automatic, and the other plugins mentioned above. I'm not sure why some of the posts on my blog would only be temporary, or somehow deleted later. Does anyone have any ideas as to what may be causing this? Thanks in advance.

Hostgator clearly stated in their forums that WP-O-Matic or other RSS Scraping tools will get you shut down until removed. It hammers their servers too hard.

I don't see how a autoblog script is so comparatively processor intense ...
 
some nubs ask about feeds and where they can find that
try google:) or just ask me at that post and I post link with ultimate feeds collection.
