With popup ads only at the moment. Popads.net

I have ONE auto blog that I set up about a week ago. I set it to auto populate with video content and it pulls traffic from sites like Pinterest, Tumblr, Twitter, etc by using the SNAP plugin.

I set up popups from popads on the site and from that alone, it's making about $0.03 a day.

If I were to set up 1000 more of these auto blogs and they each made the same amount per day, that would be approximately $30 daily.

Plus, there is absolutely no work required to maintain them. I have barely looked at the wordpress dashboard the whole time.

What I need advice on though is, If I want to scale up to having thousands of these sites, I'm going to naturally need more domains, but buying thousands of domains is not possible, it would cost thousands of dollars. So, can I use subdomains for all of them? Or would there be some kind of problem with that? Like maybe Pinterest, Tumblr, etc thinking it's spam since they are all subdomains of the same site, or something like that?

But then again, there are millions of .blogspot domains posted on those sites.

What about hosting cost?

Revenue
1 autoblog = $0.03 / day
1000 autoblogs = $30 / day OR $10,950 / year

Costs
Cheap shit hosting = $ 1 / month
Hosting for 1000 autoblogs = $1000 / month (all on different hosts)
If you purchase a dedicated server OR make a deal w/ a company then hosting = $500 / month OR $6000 / year

100 domains with 10 sub domains on each = $1000 / year

Profits
$10,950 - 6000 - 1000 = $3,950

Assumptions
Your SNAP plugin keeps working properly.
Your websites don't get hacked.
Your host does not get complaints for web spam / copyright.
Your social media accounts stand the test of time and do not get reported for posting crap.

Imagine the maintenance / up keep for 1000 different blogs. Something will break / stop working - how would you know though? How will you monitor that many blogs at once?

It's a pretty shitty business plan to be honest. Find something better OP. The amount of effort and hassle for setting up so many blogs is not worth it. Plus, as time goes by, you would need more resources, more space, since the content / images etc..for 1000 blogs will start taking up space on the server.

Having lots of sites presents the opportunity to uncover profitable niches that you could then build an authority site in.

Plus, there's a lot of experience to be gained in managing such a large network, and experience is valuable.

You could give wp multinetwork a whirl and learn how to use it. Then duplicate your setup for your next batch of 1000 when you find an optimal setup.

How did you set it up?

is there a tutorial on how to set up one of these autopost blogs?

How does the SNAP plugin 'pull traffic'?

That's as close as we're going to get to a BUSINESS PLAN for this idea. Thank you for taking the time to break it down @DeadJoe

Doesn't have to be like that - he could buy cheap domains like .xyz or whatever the new TLDs are out there for like under a buck. Also hosting - he is embedding youtube videos so it's not like he needs super powerful hosting.

I agree that 1000 blogs would be too much but he could hit better niches and then delete the ones that do not produce thus getting the number of blogs down to managable amount.

If copyright and getting sued are concerns, there's always PLR content you can use. It doesn't have to be top quality either to make you money if you have lots of sites.

Also, to save space on your hosting, if there is a limit, there's a plugin that deletes your posts that are older than X days, weeks, etc automatically.

Just an idea.

So far my one site that I have has made $0.58. If I had 1000 identical sites, that would be $580 all without doing anything except for duplicating the original site to my other sites and of course adding the social accounts.

Also, if you don't want to pay for hosting or domains, there's always free sites like blogger and wordpress that you can run autoblogs on.

Make sure you are giving nofollow links to all, if you are scraping content from other websites.

Please give us an updated. I am interested on this too.

You put some twist or just make pure basic autoblog?

Pm me please

Hourly rate = $40
Labour cost per site = $10
At $0.03/day it would take 330 days to recoup the labour costs on one site.
This is before we looks at domain and hosting costs.
This is before we look at maintenance, security, backups etc. - an unmaintained WordPress site will eventually get hacked

I tried autoblogging with spun content from a content provider. It got a lot of traffic but very few ad clicks. I found that curated content manually posted has a much better conversion rate. That's a lot more work though.
