Authority sites needs video ?

Hello BHW.

(This is my second post today here, i feel really hungry of knowledge guys)

I'm bulding up a new site, authority site, and i think it's going to be a qualitative leap to put videos in my contents or site in general.

As my niche is technology and electronic gadgets, i was wondering about creating videos, like reviews videos on YT about new smartphone model or something similar.

I've got a good numbers of items reviews and general articles but i can't afford to buy every single product and make a reviews by myself.

So i was wondering how i can make some kind of videos thats sounds like a reviews or a intro-presentation video for the product...

Get MS paint and copy and paste picture and use text to guide and interact with the user.
If you are super lazy you can just add background music

The obvious way to go here is to make some sort of a slide show with your voice over it, but I doubt that would draw attention. You could try going for a more original approach here, like browsing articles on the internet about your product while you talk about the product and what's written in the articles about the product. You can voice your own opinion about the product while you're also showing what major tech sites think about it. I'm just spitballing here now but it feels like something that could work if done well.

Well, collect images related to your gadgets and make a video by joining them. Windows has a by-default videp maker (also called movie maker), use it your problem will be solved.

If it was me I would do something more interactive, especially if it is authority site.
Tinytake is a very good free software for recording screen and/or from webcam.

Maybe spoken review would be better - as said above either while capturing screen or video yourself speaking.

For those that don't know the term draw video is actually refering to sketch videos, these are where a hand holding a pen writes something over a image or video.
you can get software like Explaindio ( I use this myself ) or easysketch pro. these allow you to make videos and write on the screen.
For your reviews, you don't need to buy products. I do review websites so here is what i do.
First find some sites that sell the product you want to review - Amazon, ebay etc
Copy to a file their descriptions of the products
Read and copy reviews that others have left, like pro's and con's etc.
Then using your new file write a review based on the info you collected and make it original.
you now have a unique review without touching the product.
Make a short version of the review for about 30secs, grab different images and put them into explaindio and imput your text and watch as your review is written out on the screen. You can add voice over and music.
Now you have your simple vid, download vidIQ for chrome and visit youtube vids that are similar and find out tags, descriptions etc and then upload yours.

I'd use an explainer video as has been mentioned above.

You can optimize the tags, content and title to get it to rank in YT and you can use music as the background or use your own voice as the voice over as has been mentioned as well.

But an explainer is a pretty good way to go and you can get them done using the software mentioned above or hire someone... it is fairly cheap to get done and they can end up looking pretty cool.

But be sure to really do your tags, content and title in YT, as well as SEO it so that it ranks there.

images, videos will work too. HQ videos and pictures , explain about your product
