Authority Site SEO Case Study

That's interesting. Are those kw's that have begun to rank long tails? What kind of approach do you take when writing content, 1 kw = 1 url or do you use multiple (with or without the addition of long tails?)

One is a long tail KW but the others are not. I might end up targeting 1500 KWs and ranking for 7,500 by the time all is said and done. That is pretty common with my sites in general.

I target one KW per page but that is really bad writing and poor SEO so I have others peppered in there in a very gentle mild way. That looks natural and helps with the interlinking so that my sites do not look like I interlinked haphazardly.

I recently started doing multiple keywords/URL and its been working out great so far.

I was targeting a certain keyword on one of the pages on my site that is position 180 and yesterday i found another related KW, 6.5K volume i edited the content made it better and added that KW. It just boomed to the 7th page itself today. I will build some web 2.0s and do some blasts hopefully that will help. In your opinion what is the second best type of contextual link after web 2.0s?

Does SerpBuddy automatically pick up the keywords you are ranking for or do you add them one by one? 7.5K is a shit load of keywords.

I would not even say that a web 2.0 is the best backlink to have actually, I prefer a parasite type site link even if it is a no- follow. I'd rather build authority than link juice for a long term site.

I actually wrote about using parasite pages from authority sites back in August on my blog before it became a topic here.

SB does not choose the KWs that you would use in there, I used long tail pro and got a boatload and downloaded them. Some I would have never thought of actually.

Question: Do you monetize any sites in your tiers? I understand that if you did you would have to take serious precautions to avoid and footprints, but it could be done. Seems a shame to have leave of these sites unmonetized. And on a related subject, you use any Google products in your PBN?

This is a great post! I can see based on what you're saying that a method like this would help a local business rank in their sites as well! The approach is very similar.

Maybe other than the 33k backlinks, I think I see what you're doing... By randomly adding links and doing things in what seems to be a non-systematic approach (though it is), it allows you to TRULY overcome the Google algorithm by not setting off any triggers that may flag your site for being spammy.

What I'm saying probably sounds extremely cliche and noobie-like... However understanding and knowing is two different things! And I think I'm starting to understand it.

CHEERS BTB!

I wouldn't have read from first to last page unless someone who is serious about their journey post and i did read this only because of BTB.Every reply he does teaches all what i have learned in my 3+ years of IM in just minutes. This is why we have much respect and trust.I wish this journey will end in a smooth way and people make sure to catch his reply as he teaches not replying.Good luck wise fella (Y)

I never do, in fact I never have ever when building tiered links and I've been doing that for over 5 years now; well before any automation was one's friend. There may be some money left on the table there but there also might be a footprint left if one was to do that so I think that to err on the side of caution is best here.

Google products in my PBNs? I have analytics on some of them, tied to various accounts but nothing more than that and I rarely look at those but when I do it is done using a proxy.

You are seeing some of my thought process that works to rank sites; made my day!

Hopefully you will get something out of this that puts money in your pocket.

17 Articles in one day is impressive! Do you see any increase in SERPS, or expect to see any, by simply adding 2.0s with no back-links? I mean, will a web 2.0 send any power, or is it just to diversify the IPs and relevancy?

After a lot of trial and error, I've seen that writing my own content is a lot higher ROI for my money-sites -- as I always have to alter the content I get from writers ... so I basically only use outsourced content for web 2.0s and my PBNs. I actually enjoy writing, and it's a great way to learn a new language, as I now do my writing for money-sites in Spanish, English and Scandinavian languages.

I'll be adding in backlinks to most of them but it will be a while before I do that and then they will have some direct value to my site. The ones with no links, but rather just a mention, are just to keep things looking natural as there are bloggers and such that will mention a site but not properly format the link and I am mimicking them.

Nice, i also have 50 niche relevant web 2.0s around and indexed with no outbound link laying around.

Let see if we have consistent result :P.

I just download dragon naturally and it is the best thing I have ever done. I can pump out 30 articles a day with that thing.

Yeah BTB, I do see it. I'm following your thread, and I've probably read the entire thing twice over. Your words are nuggets everytime you write on here!

Thank you, and I wish you continued success friend! Hopefully I'll have the opportunity to teach people what I know as I learn more about the craft.

Are you planning to time release the articles with a auto post program? also back date some the article post to 3 months before?

Yeah, Dragon is a nice tool. I vacillate between Dragon and typing but without Dragon there would be days my productivity would be severely limited.

No, I'll post them manually and not change any dates. Changing the dates does not fool Google, only the readers. I'm trying to do as much as possible without tools so that any Joe off the street can replicate this in their own way so a tool would be out of the question for a task that is relatively simple and, if the content is already written, just a few hours of work.

This has greatly inspired me to start my own journey. Thank you BTB! It's always a pleasure. In modern SEO, how significant is it to have social media accounts for your websites?

I don't think it is absolutely imperative but in that it is so simple to set up and build up, it makes a lot of sense to have them for your sites.

Dear BassTrackerBoats,
Please do you recommend adding all my websites to google webmaster tool? I am building groups of niche amazon product targeted sites. Is this a standard practice or should I desist from it?
If it's okay, should they all be under the same email address or I should create a seperate gmail for each of my niche website when submiting to google webmaster tool.

Thanks for the inspiration!

I do recommend using Webmaster tools; I use it on all my personal sites... I may not have it set up on all my PBN sites but for my personal ones I certainly do.

Also, your idea of maybe using different email addresses is a good one but if you do that you do not want to have the same advertising account tied to that site.

I don't know that it is that big a deal if you are running a white hat, pure as the driven snow, sunshine site but it may be a good idea to do.

I do.
