Long time no time I see you in these parts, Ramsweb!
Ramsweb and I did a lot of work together back in the day both with him writing for my sites as well as a JV he and I did... must be 3 years or so ago I guess.

Yes BTB. Seems so long ago! But it was great fun churning out all those articles for your many sites! I am just getting back into BHW. Been concentrating on my own sites and some stock investments. You will now see me occasionally trolling you though

Seed KWs chosen - 282 KWs put in my rank tracker I (I'll post a screen shot tomorrow). I'll work on taking those seed KWs and getting a legit number instead of only 282... I should end up with close to 3K I guess.
Still have only the 2 articles with 3600~ total words in place.
Built one Web 2.0 (jigsy) that won't have the content indexed right away.
I'll hit that with a couple thousand backlinks using a tool that we made for one of my services. Jigsy does not allow the bots to crawl the content right away; probably to stop spammers. At some point jigsy will change the robots.txt file and let the bots crawl and when it finally happens there will be a bunch of backlinks in place with a little push to it.

Here are a couple of ranking reports I promised; first one is of the only KW that is ranking and the other one gives an overview of some. There are 282 in there but I am not going to bore you with all of them saying that they do not rank anywhere yet.

Ok, progress yesterday:
Wrote another article and published it - only 655 words but I did target a KW in it. This was the first "post" as the other two are pages.
Wrote a couple of quickie articles for backlinks - used soup.io and about.me. Not the world's best writing as I did each in under 5 or 6 minutes but I wanted to put something out there, generic in nature, pointing to the root url. These may be the only backlinks I link to the root url, aside from a handful of press releases I will do, as my strategy is to target inner pages and posts with backlinks as they are more pointed in nature. The article on the main page is just a generic gateway article that talks about the niche in a very broad manner.
I'll backlink those two articles today using a proprietary tool I own that one of my guys coded and then drip index those links over the next month using lindexed (another disclaimer if I failed to mention in my opening, I own lindexed).
The reasoning behind the 2 articles is to sort of announce the site to the world, share what it is about in a very general way and, of course, get a couple of backllinks.
The press release strategy I will share when I start that process as I actually have a method when using PRs for my sites.

I'm enjoying reading this thread. I'm an old guy of 47 who is recovering from major surgery at home and I'm in bed (11.17 GMT!) with not much to do and feeling sorry for myself but this is great, especially as your usual niche of financial services is mine too.
