I believe a good friend of mine is being targeted by bots that report everything they upload. It's the only explanation I can come up with as to how they post content that complies with guidelines but is constantly taken down within a matter of hours after posting. This is what they've noticed lately.
- No explanation is given when the content is taken down other than a general violation of guidelines statement with no links to appeal.
- Content is removed in a very short period of time.
- Thousands of bots (some new some old) were found on their follower list.
- Recently their facebook locked them out on 3 different occasions within a week's span for "suspicious activity"
- what do you guys think is happening to them?
- Are there automated report bots that can target content?
- What options do they have to protect themselves against these attacks (going private isn't a long term solution as they need swipe up link capability)
- Can a firewall be made around an Instagram account?
