I have been able to control minor things in my dreams since a long time...like if I am having a bad dream, I just 'change the channel' if you know what i mean...
but a couple of days back I had the most lucid dream ever...
in my dream i was browsing a forum that I own and I was trying to see the timestamp of the latest post but it was all blurry and kept changing...that's when i realized that i was in a dream...
the first thing i did is try to fly
then i flew out the window...it is the most awesome sensation ever!
then i spotted a really hot chick walking on the road and decided to have sex with her hahaha
so i went down and i was trying to land on the ground but it was really hard and i woke up
my girlfriend was sleeping next to me and she said that i was breathing very heavily and making mild orgasm noises
but a couple of days back I had the most lucid dream ever...

You are missing the point. I'm not a 'non-believer', I completely accept that the phenomena of astral projection exists. The point I'm making is that the explanation given for it seems like complete bullshit. You say we don't know much. What I think you mean to say is that we don't know everything, and you are using that logic to justify the belief in the spirit world. 'Spirit science' is a slap in the face to everyone who has put work into finding out about the world.
It hasn't gone off topic at all. Forums are a platform for debating. I find it interesting that you have the time to reply to other posts in this thread yet don't have the time to discuss the perfectly reasonable points I am making.

Very immature. I'm not being a dick, I'm not trying to troll you, I'm just trying to have a reasonable debate. When you post something claiming it's an explanation for something you should be prepared to handle questions and objections related to it.
It's sort of like saying, "there are dragons at the bottom of my garden, but I don't have to waste time trying to prove it to you, because I'm right and you're a dick if you don't believe me"

Its definitely not a coincidence and is sometimes apart of the first stages of the experience. Also sleep paralysis is a great way to have an astral projection if you get past the fear.

I was born with it. It wasnt until middle school that I was able to put a name to my experiences when I started randomly finding books on the subject.

The situation and the subject is different dude.
Astral is about feeling. Mind. It has nothing to do with "threat believe" like religion hell/heaven/dragon and etc.
I'm a skeptic before. Watch all videos about science, Sam Harris, Dawkins, C.Hitchen, Michael Shermer etc..
But when we talk about astral. I don't know... The experience on the astral itself, the mind, consciousness, reading about dualism concept by John Lock, Descartes, OSHO, probably make me think 2x about this astral, zen... and stuff, conclusion = because it make sense..
Maybe for me not for you... 24hours is all about "eye" supportive (always with left-brain)..
Universe is weird..

It has a lot to do with belief. Judging by the links and video you post you are implicitly saying that you believe in what that 'spirit science' video is rambling on about. It seems to me like you are spreading misleading information.
Using existing scientific principles to back up pseudoscience/superstition is a massive insult to real scientists, and real people who are actually discovering things about the world. Saying that a spirit realm exists, and twisting existing scientific theories to back it up is just giving it a misleading sense of legitimacy.
It would be like branding toothpaste as a weight loss supplement, and then saying something like, "Well, according to quantum physics particles can exist in all their states at the same time, so this must mean that toothpaste will make you lose weight."

Lucidology is a fast track method that doesn't really require faith. The have lots of free videos. Check out some of the first posts in the thread. That's where that method and others are.

Both sides are right, the skeptics and believers. The skeptics are right because they should never just believe something because they are told it exists. That is not to say they shouldnt have an open mind because they absolutely should and be willing to pursue the truth for themselves. The believers are right because anyone that truely has these experiences knows that its real in the sense that their not just having a dream.
When I'm asked "how do you know its not just a really vivid lucid dream" I usually reply with "if those experiences are all just dreams then I have to consider that this right now is also a dream"
