Going deeper into the neuro and quantum perspective still does nothing to justify this so called 'spirit science' in the video you posted.

You can't hide behind saying it's down to perspective. That's like a bird claiming that gravity doesn't exist because it can fly. We still know gravity exists.

Whatever your perspective is on it, the fact remains that there is no credible evidence for 'spirit science', and I don't think it should be accepted as fact. What there is evidence for is that our existence if a mix of chemistry, physics and biology, there's no doubt about that. Talking about how drugs give you a sense of spirituality is not proof of it, it's just proof of how a chemical reaction has an effect on your brain.

Take it with a pinch of salt but at the same time stay open minded. Science can't prove everything. At least not anywhere in the near future.

I am open minded. I'm open to believe anything you tell me as long as I'm given reasonable proof.

I can fully understand. I'm personally extremely skeptic about such things and I don't fully believe in something unless I experience it and there's some way of proving it. But then again I am very open minded and although I don't fully believe in certain things I can understand the logic/sense behind it. I therefore do not cross out the possibility of something being true when science hasn't exactly proved it being false either. I personally feel that there must be more to life then what we see on a daily basis.

If you want to be so open minded in the way that you don't question the origins or motives of an idea like spirit science, then that is entirely your choice. It sounds great and everything but I can't believe it for reasons I've already posted.

My personal view is that 'spirit science', and all other similar pseudosciences are just another way to SELL BOOKS. The people in this thread who believe that astral projection can be explained by spirits etc only believe that because one guy MARKETED his idea really well.

( Theres a money making method hidden in this thread if you read between the lines :p )

I am open minded and I therefore understand where you're coming from. I do question these things but to a certain extent as otherwise the whole questioning turns into conspiracy theories which is something I'd like to avoid. I personally don't have a specific mindset towards this. I believe what I see, what I feel, and what I experience; all of this to a certain extent.

i didnt know what that was. i get the vibrations all the time, feels like an earthquake. ive only ever heard the buzzing/tearing sound once though. im tired of lucid dreaming but its cool cause its never really lasted for more than 5 minutes. i'm not too sure i want to get into the astral thing.

edit: you guys had the dark thing hold you down too? i was pretty certain that that was just a dream . . . i didnt jknow other people had the vibrating thing too. what a trip. imagine if we didnt have the internet, theres no way we'd be talking about this.

i understand the non-belivers, if i hadnt experienced this i'm pretty sure i wouldn't believe it; at the same time it's not particularly hard to believe, simply because we don't know much. if were still around in 500 years people will reflect on us with no greater respect than we do of those who believed in a flat earth and boiling seas.
