Asking for RSS Feed Advice Please!

Hi all

So I have searched the forums and G but really just want some simple(?) help if anyone can please!
I have a link that is broken that should point to an RSS feed on my site but there is no mention of the feed on the website or in wordpress tools. The error is something like www.mysite.com/topic/feed
My questions are: what should I be looking for on my webpage or wordpress that is associated with that feed so I can get it working correctly again?

2 - Can RSS feeds help of hinder SEO - this is a purely white hat site that I want to keep clean.

It will depend how your site is set up, did you use any plugins? What error are you receiving?
