    Hey,

I tried harvesting by using footprints of do-foloww plugins like keyword luv, but i end up with very few harvested url's. I think im doing something wrong.

Im entering the footprint in the harvester.. Im loading around 1000 keywords in the keywords box. M selecting custom footprint. and i harvest...

End up with very few urls.....

What m i doing wrong.. When i enter only the footprint in google, i get a large no. of results..
If i put only footprint in the harvester and no keywords in the keyword, i dont get any result..

Whats the correct way to go abt this..

    Any help appreciated..

your problem is quite similar to me. when i harvest and sort 1000 url to comments. 990 fail. custom footprint to harvest url still mass up.
    here is my some footprint
    intitle:statistics inurl:awstats.pl
    intitle:statistics inurl:awstats.pl site:.edu
"You can leave a response, or trackback"

Inurl:.edu "powered by wordpress" "leave a comment"
    Inurl:.gov "powered by wordpress"
    Inurl:.ac.uk "powered by wordpress"

    Not working. confusing !!!

1:) keyword luv blogs are 95% nofollow
2:)if you use public proxies with the multi harvester plug-in an low bandwith you are more likely to get small number of results
3:)did you add " blah " to you footprint for acurate results?

whats the significance of adding "blah" to my footprint ...

I mean I only used "footprint" and i used footprint and loaded the keyword thing with loads of keywords.. both yielded very few results

I don't have much success posting through public proxies using the internal browser to manually post (or auto), guess they have a blacklist of the popular generic proxies already in their filters.

There are also a lot of other variables, like disabling comments etc that can affect the posts.
