My channel is monetized & i want it to be safe, i've used gifs from giphy.com in 2 of my video, are they safe, should i delete them.
My channel is in gaming niche, i do upload non commentary video, but with written subtitles(To express my expression or to give advice), Any advice to improve audience retention ?

I don't want to hijack your thread but don't fool our co-members with such a misleading information, active subs isn't a factor clearly! most of the ranked videos on the game niche has 0 to 10 subscribers, Yes aged accounts (With old published videos) it seems to be an important factor (I have dozens of them already). I know some other factors that helps me to be in the top 15 but still there is a lot of unrevealed tips behind the scenes. People are taking the #1 place easily before even sending views.

Okay but if i download and reupload then it will have the copyright strike ( for documentries ) and for sports videos I can clip the highlights but it will also give copyright strike. Can you tell please how to produce this kind of content , upload it and not get banned. I am willing to put the effort for sure.

OK, but OP there are channels I have seen with very poor number of subscribers not up to 100 yet they get up to millions of views and their every video is always on YouTube homepage how do they ranked like that ,is it blackhat method ?3 depend on the channel you stealing content

did i sayd it was the only way to rank videos ? i just said with fast views from your subs you can rank very fast on a keyword. if you say i'm wrong for this you have never managed an account with subs in your life.
very trending topic, gold niche or very old video.
no magic secret views from good source with good retention and watch time
all depend on keyword, can be very easy on low comp without views.

If I target keywords in yt title whom exist only partial in title of other videos ranked, I have chance to rank in first 3 on my exactly keywords. Lets say a video rankin no.1 Clash of Clans Hacks and I put a video Clash of Clans Tips and Tricks, my video has higher chances to rank on my exactly keywords, no. 1 or if other videos allready ranked has in description and in tags Clash of Clans Tips and Tricks, will be alaways ranked before me?...I do not use that niche is an example. I do not know if I am explained well what I am trying to say.

I get it, and I know it. But there are ppl on gaming nice exactly fake proofs that are ranks instant top all keyword not long tails , just type in youtube search this : "hack" and look for today, you will know what I mean
