ArticlesBase turned nofollow?

Hi

I've edited a couple of my ArticlesBase articles and for some reason checked them to confirm their d0follow links. Now I notice they have both become nofollow. Having read their article guidelines, it says they will all be nofollow so I'm guessing this has changed over the last few months as those articles were d0follow

Even if they are no-follow, that is ok as you want Google to think that your backlinks are natural and no-follow links will show that your backlinks are a natural process... I actually look for no-follow links to put anchor text to my sites sometimes.

I don't know about the nofollow but yesterday I edited three of my old articles just to update the link urls at the bottom to a valid address, and they all were rejected.. so be careful..

They have been no-follow for as long as I have been using them.

How odd. I happened to check those links prior to editing the articles because I couldn't remember if they were do or nofollow. They were definitely d0follow beforehand but now there's more HTML around them, including the nofollow;

Yeah, just noticed they'd rejected one of mine too, for wrong category...

They have been nofollow for a LONG time.

They do get decent click throughs compared to many other directories.

I have had a few lucky articles rank #1 on that site with no promotion or backlinking that led to some sales so it's still worthwhile to submit to them.
