Article Marketing Works! GTF In HERE

OP said mentioned using pictures and colors related to your niche. Pictures is simple enough. But colors?? How does one determine what colors go with what niches? LOL

BtoB

I think he means choose the same colors of the product you are promoting. Like on the product's sales page for example.

This is a good post. I'm going to give this a go. I wrote 3 badass articles pretty quick the other day and it reminded me of how strong of a writer I am.

I'm a little confussed about a few things. I thought ezine did NOT allow direct linking from their articles?
I have heard direct linking, landing page, and blogspot all in this thread. I know jay101 said to split test.

@ Math So what does your blog look like exactly? Are you just using the blogspot as a landing page? Or are you using like and actual blog and putting multiple posts on there?

so what are the best article directories to submit to?

Top 3 are ezinearticles, articlesbase, and goarticles. However there are like a million and one article directories, and a good number of them use follow links. In my personal opinion, I think sticking to the ones with do follow links are important when you've built your own landing page... That is, if you want to rank in the search engines.

Hey math (or anyone else), this has been a debate in my own mind for a while now. Does the traffic of a successful article marketer come from within ezine or outside via search?

I suppose it could be both, but I don't understand how traffic from ezine itself could last long without getting buried. I have seen articles shrivel away pretty quickly before. Even still, a conversion or 2 for a well-written article may be worth it.

Is you keyword research for the blogger or actual articles?

Thanks

So you are basically writing a mini-article in the blog comments? That is an interesting idea. 100 words or so just to get a reader interested enough to click over to your site.

Colors... it's not complicated. If you are promoting a product that targets women's health of self estem, go with pink, not red.

See where I'm going?

I do keyword research for the niche itselfs and the articles

I'm sorry for any confusion on the direct linking part.

By direct linking, I mean to use a redirect that direct links to affiliate product, not using the raw hop link.

Ezine doesn't allow a raw affiliate link, but they do allow a straight redirect, as long as it's a top level domain redirect. IE:

allowed - www.niche.com
not allowed - www.niche.com/niche

Also, when doing keyword research, don't always rely on keyword tools alone for good keywords. Most of them will seem heavily saturated already, and may discourage you on entering a potentially profitable niche when you check the competition.

Instead, take those same keywords or figure out some of your own for the niche and start checking good ole google suggest, like I said before some of the best buyer keywords are hidden right there.

Also, if your going to do a blogspot setup right now, combined with ezine, there's some good money to be made right now in the physical product area using amazon.
Primetime shopping for micro niche's

You could slap up a quick blog, on 3 of the best camcorders for example "JVC Deluxe 4339", "Sony Whatever 3088" etc. and write some ezine articles specific to those models connected to your blog.

Ezine articles ranks freakin super fast in google, if you can plug away right now at some real micro niche type keywords for high ticket items, you could really bank it up right now why everyones hot to buy.

Or, just buy a .info domain, make the name something like "www.bestcamcorders.info" that redirects to an amazon page with the best camcorders, write all your articles on specific models. The point of this is, their already looking for more info on the model, you inform them with your article that takes them to amazon where they can get a good deal on that one or another one.

They may even finish all their holiday shopping through your link while their there. They might buy suzie that wii game they wanted, grandma edna that back massager and hubby that nice norelco razor hes been wanting and skip the stores all together.

Whatever you do, keep on pluggin away.

are you using squeeze pages on your blog or just simply "information" with affliate links in?

Ezine redirection to your site is great but how are you taking the initial article review and giving the reader something more at your blog other than the obvious information pertaining to Amazon?

Good post mate. Question, i have 20 well written articles do you think I should spin them to 100 each and submit them to the directories and my newly created blogs

First you should analyse each of your article, and see wich ones are converting well. Take the best one and try doing simillar articles and keep split-testing.

I don't think spinning an article that doesn't convert is well worth your time.

For the moment I am not using a squeeze page. I've put a couple of articles and made the blog more personal, less hype style. One of the thing I've notice is when you make a great blogger profile, people seem to have more trust in you, and more trust in what you are writing.

A good review is well over 1000 words, and Ezine article minimum words is 250, so to give something more in your blog is not really hard. And btw, I'm not promoting Amazon products, only clickbank.

I made 1 post in this thread answering a question and asking a question. And I received a PM from OP.

So anyone else receive any PM's like this?

Okay, let me know how. Did you use a .info domain or just blogspot with no domain?

Are you sure there's not a reason you started this thread?

No specific reason. You're the only one who's been pm.

Are you writing all the articles and blogs yourself or is there a provider you are using that is effective?

I write 90% of all the content by myself.

How many articles need to be out there for someone new to article marketing to start making a substantial income? 200-300 articles? i could only imagine that it'll take well over 3-4 months to accumulate that many articles, unless you have someone writing them for you.
to keep it real I have seeen conversions with just one article it all depends on how well you do your keyword research. But here is a tip that I use look for articles from authors who have been posting for more than month because you know they took the time to do all the keyword research for you because no good article marketers target crap keywords. Leverage their time spent on google hahaha
