Ok, so i've decided I would like to do some article marketing work promoting clickbank products. Maybe these are dumb questions, not really sure but it just seems too easy. My plan is to...

1. Write tons of unique articles targetting long tail keywords
2. Link every article directly to clickbank hoplink
3. Submit each article to 5 of the top article directories (besides ezine, because then I can't direct link) (Same exact article to each of the 5 directories, so that the same exact article would be on each directory)
4. Social bookmark and drive traffic to each of the articles on each directory
5. Profit???

Anyone see any problems with this method? I would assume the duplicate content wouldn't be a problem since i'm not looking for backlinks, just as much exposure as possible for my articles

The Question is that "can you really write tons of unique articles yourself?"

Yes, I can do at least a few a day, can write a 400 word article in about 15 mins tops. With that already figured out, does my plan look ok?

I have a better idea for you... write those unique articles and build you own landing page and develop a link structure that will get that page high in the search engines using a random series of web 2.0 properties and some article directories.

Link some some of the articles to hubs and have the hubs linked to your main site.

This process is called link pushing and works extremely well for the person like you that can write unique articles.

Thanks for the advice, I really appreciate it. I'm relatively new to IM still, and wasn't really sure what direction to take all this. I'll have to do some more searching on link pushing and find out the smaller details. Another difficulty that comes up is creating a landing page. I've never created a landing page before and don't have money to invest right now, perhaps I'll just have to do some research and come up with some more information.

If I were to go with my original method for the time being, does it look fine to you though? I wanted to start with the basics, continue to work on pumping out articles fast then use them in different ways down the road. It's mostly ease i'm looking for right now with a busy life schedule

I personally would drive the traffic to my sites as opposed to a clickbank page immediately. Check your PM box, I sent you a gift.

@ OP:

Take the advice BassTrackerBoats gave you.

In addition make sure to do some serious backlinking for your articles as well to get them ranked as high as possible. You need lots of views /readers to get enough clicks (either leading to CB vendor page or (recommended) to your landing pages.

I have a question, I am also starting with articles but, if I submit the same article to different directories, isn't that duplicate content and therefore those articles will get deindexed on the serps and also losing the link juice to your landing page?

Thanks to everyone helping here:)

Duplicate content is for those that do not want to work for a living. Spin the article, rewrite the article, write a new article.

If you want to make money at this, you have to work.

that's fine, I have thebestspinner, I was just curious about if I should submit different spun articles to every directory or just the same one...

Thebestspinner will work nicely for you in this situation. I would suggest submitting spun articles to web 2.0 properties and article directories. I would not use just one directory.

I'll do, thanks again for the advice, I will post back to let everyone know how is this working for me...

Thank you, I really really appreciate it. I guess I was caught in looking for the easy way out. Nothing comes easy in IM and so i'm going to just get to work and do it the right way.

Thanks again to everyone for the advice and tips.
