Article Marketing - Direct Hops or Presale?

Anyone know how often EZ checks the links?

If we setup a landing page at www.thedomain.com/moreinfo.htm that is filled with more information. After EZ approves the article (or maybe a day or two after) we switch the page to a redirect to the sales page.

Anyone know if this will work?

I doubt EZ would be regularly checking previously-submitted articles just because of the sheer volumes of them.

However, there are definitely some loserish white hat people on Ezine who would try to report you if they came accross your article and found that you are "illegally" linking.

If I was you I would take the risk though.

I agree, its probably not much of a risk anyway. Having said that, buying a cheap .info and knocking up a re-direct is simple enough, and only costs a couple of bucks.

what about co.cc for redirects? It's Free but dunno if ezine accepts them or not. They say nothing about co.cc in their TOS...

Look at this guy's landing page he's using for article marketing, he's using blogspot but it sure looks like a sales page....

I was thinking about that. I think (I may be wrong) that .cc is a standard domain type and all .co.cc domains are simply subdomains of http://www.co.cc, which is why I think ezinearticles may not accept it because they don't allow you to redirect to your aff link from a subdomain. I will be sure to give it a try though when I start article marketing again.
