nope.
the one that i hate and cant stand is ehow. Must be the biggest article directory that has the most copies of the same god damn article.
Although i am a hypocrite here as i do scrape articles from there

ezine had a lot of pages that lost rankings and index. Thats why they are very strict now. they even tried nofollow on links.

Yea... There are a few major article directories which are strongly hit by Panda. But a few got a positive boost.

Ezine is one such directory, it lost its rankings for long tail keywords. In order to recover from the loss, it is not turned into ******** article directory.

I have been reading alot about the panda updates. A ton has been said that many article directories have taken major blows and lost their reputation and power (PR obviously).
I lost faith in article directories a long time ago; for their link juice and their traffic value.
If you do a google search, now you will no longer see any article directory links on the first page. That is unless somebody has link wheeled the crap out of that single article.

articles from directories are rarely ranking for any competitive terms, unless someone has spent a lot of time building backlinks to their article.
however, they still generate quite a lot of traffic by ranking for thousands of long tail terms, so my directories still make me some money through adsense, although not a lot.

Interesting to see how some were barely effected at all (wordpress) and other got hammered (ezine, associated content). It looks like some like hubpages are starting to recover at least some of their loss. I wonder what changes they made?

I had a Panda burger today; medium well.. lettuce, tomato and a bit of mayo on it.
Topped it off with a cold beer and some fries.
It is a little gamey so I hope the next update that Google does is lamb or deer related as those meats are much better.
I could only hope it is Bison related as that is some good stuff.
