Art Niche Instagram Journey

I decided to start documenting alot of my progress and hopefully slowly give back what I have learned.
I will not be posting specific details about my account because I do not wan't my affiliation to this site to ruin potential connections with other influencers in my niche (almost no one relevant is botting) IF you do figure out my handle, please be courteous and respectful.

Accounts: 1
Age: 1 Year as of this post.
Followers: 4857
Followers/Followings ratio: 50+

Methods:

F/UF: I tried for one day and stopped. My guilt was too much. Unfollowed everyone immediately.
Likes: 400-1000 a day.
Comments: TBD
DM: TBD
Proxies: None. Just my phone and personal laptop at home :).

Softwares:

Cloud Services: None. Fuck them. Have wasted alot of money and they have 1000 problems.
Followliker: Used up until about 2k because limited filtering.
GMT2: My preferred program. Works like a charm. Hoping for a better User Tracking tab and more filters.
JARVEE: Use occasionally for estimates. I find that it is very slow for any actions.

Goals:

10k before April 1'st. (really asap)
100k in 30 months - (I will quit my dayjob.)
1 million in 7 years??? I believe Instagram will be relevant still because it is owned by Facebook which has very deep roots now for over a decade.

No haha, I mean that's when I already plan to regardless of my goal. (will be finishing my schooling) Plus, with my niche, 100k followers would mean that I am at a point where I have other medias and will have a potential to make money in many different ways.
 
Umm.... I woudn't quit your day job. Know how you will monetize and gets some estimates to your income through Insta when you reach 100k first. I know people who have a few hundred thousands but they still work full time jobs, but its up to your knowledge, skills and luck. I'm not saying it's impossible, but you're probably smart, so good luck! :)

Broke 5000 followers yesterday. Net gains since then has been unprecedented for me. I have switched up my tactics this week the most since I started and it seems to be positive. I remember there were days when I looked forward to escaping single digit daily followings, then 30 avg, then 50 avg, now I hit 100 in one day for the first time. I hope this is sustainable and will keep updated.
 
you will make sweet fuck all money on a 100k Art account. I have a 200k Art account and I make sweet fuck all on it.

Problem is it isn't an art sharing acc hahaha. Its a personal art one so I will need to do alot more work. I hope I can learn what sweet fuck is like one day. XD

Updates for today are kinda sad. I have managed to maintain 90+ gain for the two days since I changed my algo but I am loosing alot of followers. 30+ per day. I have bought 3 shoutouts in the past and am wondering if I am still losing the fake accounts from those. My goal is 108 gain per day, which would put me on a reasonable track to 100k. I feel like 100k is going to be like having 10k very soon...maybe I am wrong.
 
600 followers in 7 days. Not bad If I do say so myself haha. Next goal is 700 in 7 days.

I noticed something interesting today.

My latest post has done very well, having more likes in less than 24 hours than a 4 day old post. I went to compare the analytics of the posts and noticed for the first time I see that there are some impressions from 'explore'. I never get on the explore page so I was surprised that the 4 day old one got a few views, rather than the current one that Instagram decided to show to 1k more of my followers.

Then I realized the main difference:

The 4 day old post had 0 hashtags. I never abuse hashtags, usually less than 22 at the most. I think hashtags are a red flag to Instagram that you are chump change. I calculated I get less than 3% of my impressions from them so I am quitting the use of all hashtags from this point forward to see the results.

hey try Neutrino+ i gained 700 followers in one day. its mostly real people by the way, its also free. you will understand why i recomended it if you try it, im trying to build up a account for affiliate marketing on Instagram and it was the only option i saw since im still in highscool and dont have a job, ill probably get a job soon though to save up like 3,000$ for a lot of fake followers and build up from there. anyways that was just my advice, good luck.
 
Update. I started getting blocked alot ever since I started DM'ing. I have stopped that and now I get like blocked all the time. I think that if you are blocked once, you get on an increasing shit list that continues to limit your actions further and further. HOWEVER, the good thing is that it seems to be action type specific.

I have had a change of heart and switched to follow/unfollow. I think it is kind of complex my schedule so I will maybe talk about it after I see some consistency. Right now It is netting 100+ consistent followers a day. (going to have 10k on the weekend of my birthday ahahaha) I start unfollowing people who followed back in a few days so I am excited to see how many I will lose lol. I am going to stop all bot likes for about a month, and only like occasionally by hand. Its crazy to think I was liking over 900 a day just a few months ago. If you get blocked, please take the plunge and stop all activity for a few days. It is worth it, you don't want to fall down the ladder like me.
 
Update: Very few blocks now but I still get them (all still from liking) Its really interesting how they target that specific action only. I have been consistently gaining 90+ a day since I started f/uf so thats good. I decided to up the numbers and add in commenting. It is usually very good for me except that when people write fucking 10 sentence essays, they get scraped even thought they aren't in my niche. I wish there were more ways to filter things on GMT2 but unfortunately its limited to only what the creator thinks people would want (which is fine). My next goal is to gain around 1k followers per week. That is going to be tough because my organic reach is still pretty much non existent. Although tbh, I don't have a way to track it.

I have been posting more often too and have noticed some types of work that people like more. I am still dissapointed at my engagement. I only get around 7% after 24 hours. My reach caps out at about 2k. IDK why instagram would limit who sees your stuff even if they follow you. My reach should always be equivalent to my followers after some time.
 
Great post, I'm also attempting this journey like you, keep us updated as time goes on, I'll be interested to see how your accounts grow, as you're getting similar numbers to me, I'm using Jarvee right now and it seems decent apart from the verification loops that stopped me here and there, I used FollowLiker before that and was getting next to no follow backs.
 
Will it work better if you join dm group? im close to 10k follower on the luxury niche account, and thinking to find dm groups around but no one seems avail :(

Thanks. Good luck haha. I did followliker in the beginning and got about 30 followbacks a day liking 960 posts a ay. Jarvee doesnt work for me but I still pay because of its ability to block spammers and filter large lists of accounts based on any criteria you want.

Ive only heard bad things about those these days. Outside of bottong, Id rather keep it limited to shoutouts/collabs of the similar niche.
