No, although I have actually had a lot more Beyond Meat in the last few years.

Plant-based protein is getting much better; even the plant-based jerky is pretty good now.

Agree

Yes. I am vegetarian.
Never ate meat in my 18 years of existence.

Wow that's so cool, you don't know what meat tastes like.
I heard of one person, and in fact, he is the third generation in his family that has not tasted meat and does't know the taste of meat.

Nobody won't die without meat. But, still, it is so delicious. But I've already eaten meat from the laboratory, and must say- it is still delicious. So I believe that we have a solution for the future!

And what's the difference between real meat and that one from the laboratory?

I have been a vegetarian for about 5 years.

What's the feeling and life difference, before/after?

Good, how long?

I try to stick to the sattvic principle of eating.

I guess it's similar to macrobiotics?

vegetarian for about 4-5 years now. I started eating meat when I was 18 and stopped when was 27-28.

What's the feeling and difference?

I'm not, but I do have a veggy blog that's giving me significant dough.:D

Can you PM me your blog link, to check. Thanks a lot :)

no, you wouldn't, food chain is for animals. Not for humans..

Think the same.

If there was something of the matter on a national census most non-veg people would be classed as: scavengers like vultures, not true omnivores like bears and apes.

If it was up to me I would ban eating meat except if you go out to hunt yourself, under two rules:
- no being a pussy with a gun. If you want to fight put in the effort and fight hand to hand
- no targeting herbivores. Fight other bloodthirsty beast like wolves, hyenas, bears etc and let's see how long before you think it's not even worth the effort

Yeah, with our skills I think we could survive 1-3 minutes in that conditions.

Cool.

Plants do not have a nervous system. You can't compare an animal to a plant.

Also, after all we have to eat something, its just better to eat plants than killing an animal to eat.

True.

Vegan here for around 4 years now and not going back to even being vegetarian unless something massive happens to my health in relation to my diet and not eating meat which I don't think will happen ever.

I think it would have been good to have the Vegan option to the poll as well as I clicked I am vegetarian because it would have been closer than if I clicked that I am not. A vegan can be classified as vegetarian but vegetarian cannot be classified as vegan.

Also, for the past few years many studies have shown that animal products contains a lot of saturated fats and cholesterol which are the main reasons for heart attacks and diabetes so I am not sure why you guys put your health at risk just to please your tastes. Maybe some of you just need to a little bit more research on the topic.

Another thing is that since I became vegan I have also reduced a lot of other bad stuff as well as sweet/sugary things as most of them contain milk. In result of that I don't crave chocolate anymore, and it is great! Sugar is probably more addictive than heroin.

So true.

Why not? Why not? Why not? :p

I eat meat, but if you get to watch some investigations on animal or meat farms.... ugly things happening in the world with that s***t

there should be more regulations for these kind of industries

I heard of one person, and in fact, he is the third generation in his family that has not tasted meat and does't know the taste of meat.
Did you talk to me? Lol,jk
I am the 5th generation in my family that hasn't tasted meat. By now, we have probably lost our ability to digest meat.

I don't think I could ever give up meat. I've only tried eating vegetables. But it didn't last long.

@perocJ I feel more fresh and healthy now than before. I used to consume all types of meat Pork, beef, Chicken, etc. Now after switching back to being vegetarian I see an increase in productivity. Better Digestion and have reduced weight. My muscles have become tight now. 5 years now of being vegetarian. Now am switching to becoming fruit based vegan slowly.

I can't directly atribute anything to becoming a vegitarian as I made a few changes in terms of diet, exercise etc. However, in general I feel good and I enjoy being a vegitarian.

I used to be ovo-vegetarian, sproutarian xD, eventually vegan then started to eat meat again during covid because I've been treating myself from covid with chicken soup xD (seriously). Now I'm just confused.

Now if you tell us why you think chicken soup is good against covid your are the best.

vegan for 3 years here. don't have a b12 deficiency, don't have energy issues. deadlifting 170kg at personal weight of 85kg at 1.85m.

I've always thought that it's best to eat the closest thing to what ancient peoples ate(before settling down somewhere and starting to be 'civilized'). I tried eating Paleo but my body didn't feel good at all, so then I thought that maybe people didn't eat as much meat, dairy and eggs when they weren't readily available, so probably ate mostly nuts, fruits and wild veggies, so I tried vegan and haven't felt better.
I don't think me not eating meat will save the world, but it makes me feel a lot better that my food didn't have a mother and a father and didn't scream when it was cut. also when you stop eating meat your taste buds change (due to the meat normally having such an overwhelming and intense taste) and you actually start tasting the real taste of food a lot more. obviously when I travel somewhere, especially to so called developing countries I'm a bit more flexible as I need quite a lot of food and eat vegetarian when vegan options are limited.
