I mean Page speed is a ranking factor and most people are using their mobile devices to surf on the web nowerdays.
So are you guys using AMP for Wordpress to speed up your Website or not?
I just tried an A / B Test and with AMP my Website scored an 80 rating instead of an 60-70 with mobile devices.

If you are not using it:
Why not?

I am trying to figure this out.

I don't use AMP anymore. It slowed down my website and the Google Search Console showed more error's with AMP than without. Never got any benefit from AMP, but that is my opinion.

AMP works in very few isolated cases mostly when your website speed s*** so hard that nothing can make it worse.. Here AMP may be helpful

I want to see what others are doing first before really coming to the conclusion

Was going to try it 2-3 years back when Google considered it as a ranking factor, not anymore since it does not qualify for being a signal for ranking.

We tried AMP and kicked it to the curb fairly quickly. Promise was minimal and delivery was worse.

Accelerated Mobile Pages, also called AMPs, are an open-source coding project created by Google to help websites load faster on mobile devices. AMP works by stripping pages down to their most essential parts and storing a cached version on Google servers, which allows them to deliver content almost immediately

On topic:
AMP isn't anything magical. Fix you site first lol.

That said, some of my friends (who are much better in SEO than me) think it is a good thing to have; specially if you are targetting Google. I don't see any reason to not use it.

No. Completely pointless in my opinion, it caused more harm than good. We just focus on the Core Web Vitals and with good hosting get 98-100% speed scores by optimising content/design/plugins.

If you are not already serving WebP images, that is worth a look and does make a difference.

Don't use AMP... Better try to optimize your site. AMP is a failed product that will be discontinued soon

Certainly no. Use amp when you can code it perfectly, if not it will break all your webpages

Not worth adding one extra plugin to the mix.
