Are You Black, White, Or Grey Hat?

check your morals at the door, this is BLACKHAT WORLD.

1% of the world is getting richer off the other 99% of the dumbasses. Which bracket are you aiming for???

TRUE..

If you want to be an ethical person, why are you even here. These forums are full of unethical tactics and things alike. But, yet you are here. You know why?
You Fucking make money because of it..
So, honestly leave the ethical issue behind, and do what we (BHWers) do the best.. "MAKE MONEY" :p

Oh! on a sidenote, I love BHW.. It made me what I am now.. O'course the actions were mine, but the ideas were collective..
as they say, as I said: "I Love BHW" :p

I'm mostly whitehat, but it all depends on the situation.

I do prefer not to screw my visitors - even on one-time-visit sites - so most of my black hat is actually grey, but I do have sites that are black to the core

And since I started selling BHCB all my BHCB campaigns are now pure whitehat, so that I don't get too much in the networks' face. (Ouch! But I guess that's the price of going public).

Brad

BH link building makes me still able to sleep. everything else is white.
but man, i hate customer service

I don't believe in hats. All SEO is blackhat, just look at Google's webmaster guidelines where they say it is a violation for any "activity intended to directly affect search engine rankings" or something similar. That's any SEO. All this black/white/grey/blue/purple hat shit is just an arbitrary definition to allow someone to feel better about themselves.

There's a line I won't cross, beyond which would be considered criminal fraud. Everything else is fair game. Do I feel sorry for the misanthropes who are snared in ewhore because they like the underaged picture on craigslist? Or the person who thinks that a bottle of Acai will let them lose weight while continuing to slam Big Macs and remain on the couch in front of the TV? No. All marketing is based around separating stupid people from their money.

My personal stance, using the traditional definitions of black/white/grey, is that if you're not doing all three you're leaving money on the table. Blackhat is good for quick hit cash but you run the risk of getting your accounts suspended and your money seized, no matter how careful you are. Whitehat is more stable, but much more work and money to get set up to the point where you can make a profit.

My personal gameplan is to get blackhat money I can roll it back into whitehat sites. I want to get to the point where if all my BH money got seized for a month I'd still be making a good living.

Diversity is key in any business, and it's 10x more important in this one.

I agree that there is not hats in SEO. But I'm talking about hats in IM as the categories have moved into IM aswell.

The whore victims might be horny but you're the one that put the picture of the girl on CL... They looked at it and wanted some action. So you're leading them into the trap.

Just because people are stupid doesn't we can take advantage of them.

I'm fine with promoting Acai. As long as the customer can actually cancel the subscription and the product has real Acai.

Marketing is not trying to squeeze money from the stupid. It's drawing people in to make them buy something.

50% Grayhat 50% Blackhat

Everything is on a scale.

I don't scam, although I have to admit most of us commit fraud.
However, it's all on a SMALL scale.

Then there are those who steal credit cards, hack into systems, etc.

Also, there will always be fraudsters in the world. It always helps to live by the saying "Someone's gotta teach them a lesson. I might as well be the first to do so."

CPA offers are not straight up scams (although I'd like to call them that), they just take advantage of people with all the bullshit Oprah and Dr. Oz, and make the rebilling terms a bit hidden.

Nothing really bad happens to the victim, and they learn a VALUABLE lesson. If it's too good to be true, it is.

I'm about 98% blackhat, 2% whitehat. Would like to get that a little more balanced.

The sky is black and that's where the stars live. :D BHW is sky high.

Whitehat at heart, but I mingle in the grey spectrum.. Trying to be ahead of the competition, but I'm not willing to royally fuck someone over for the sake of my wallet; maybe if my family was starving, but that's not the case. So, Grey it is!

I agree that fraud does happen here BHW (jobs method on CL). Even though it's small I can guarantee you it will get some unwanted attention. Just look at acai.

I don't think we are scamming anyone as long as we don't promote bad products that people can't cancel, drain money with strict terms and things like that.

I think us BHWers are only putting the attention on the bad products so everyone here thinks IM is 100% scamming. I'd suggest people read some other forums like wickedfire (even though they're asses), warriorforum (even though they suck) just to gain a wider perspective.

While WH is usually slow and steady, it's not always the case. It's not fast like BH but the money won't take ages to some in. I just think we need to put more attention on WH or GH too.

Unlike other forums, BHW covers everything. The name might be "black hat" but this is more like a awesome "make money online" forum.

I would like to see more WH or GH attention go on here because once we put our minds to it... ideas will pop up.

.................Tricking people to enter CC info for some naughty time, completing offers for a "job"... For me, I can't take it. I can't sleep like that. But that's just me..........
You're a good-natured person yao1994,
Some people want to do anything to get some bucks (even stealing).

For me I mix between W,G,BH to attract people to my chosen offers,
And .. I don't promote anything, I hate offering unethical services.

I'd consider myself a combination of all three, but always try to keep it as whitehat as possible for longevities sake.
