Are web 2.0 dead

I have some tweaks in web 2.0s and the kws are ranking well. But i cant find more than 50 web 2.0 sites anymore thats why im thinking to register back again. But I dont think its a good idea. I guess it's much better to proceed to another link build strat than to duplicate the url in web 2.0s again.

This is true. With some med competition keywords, you see many in the top 10 having 20K backlinks of mostly tier 3 links used as tier 1.

There is no problem to use few registrant at one Web 2.0 platform. Your backlinks would be present among other thousands. Just play it smart.

Dont think its got anything to do with them being web 2.0 I dont think Google will diferentiate. I think its just in general they are cracking down on sites with thin content / not regularly updated content and/or with a bad backlink profile.

The Google index has gone stale. By slowing the process down to make webmasters buy more adwords, they've gone stale. Now they update the big sites with high priority. Basically Google is becoming Overture, a paid search engine.
