"value" is completely subjective. if a customer sees value in a product, and i don't, i'm not going to try to take the stance that my opinion is somehow more valid than theirs.
as long as both parties walk away from the transaction getting what they came for, that's good enough for me. i'm not going to bother trying to tell my customers what they should and shouldn't find valuable.
