Are Twitter Communities Still Growing?

Definitely, because posts inside groups get way more attention than normal posts. It is the best shortcut for finding people who actually care about your work.

Hi everyone,
I’ve noticed more conversations happening within niche communities on Twitter lately.
Do you think communities are becoming a bigger part of the platform’s engagement and networking opportunities?
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.
yes twitter is a very genre friendly platform i mean there so many groups of people that follows trends and you can use these flows or follow them it surly can help with networking

I totally agree with you. However, niche community development seems sluggish for me.
It's entirely tiring at first, but pays off on the long term, 3-4 years ago I once got consistent DMs after a year of active niche followship, not sure it works the same way now, I will have to do that again to find out.

I think so. The main feed feels a lot noisier than it used to, while communities make it easier to connect with people who are actually interested in the same topic. I've had better conversations and made more genuine connections through niche communities than through random posts on the timeline.

Niche communities seem to drive more meaningful engagement because people with similar interests are already gathered in one place.
