I’m noticing services that offer review boosts, negative review suppression, and brand cleanup. Is this niche still profitable, and what industries are currently spending the most on reputation management?

Lawyers, Restaurants, financial services, prop trade firms, contractors, me too allegations, DUI records that pop up on page 1, and lot more

Honestly it's evergreen but you will have to know how to create turnkey services, and lot of other factors.

Profitability will depend on how efficient one is able manage costs and it's a hit or miss. Basically when you aren't able to clean up a certain thing you don't get paid. Because that's the only possible KPI

If you're looking into this area, I suggest that you exclusively use ethical and legal ways to control your reputation. Instead of boosting or hiding reviews, focus on building services that let people write real reviews, improve the customer experience, and make your brand's viewpoint clear. The niche can still be successful, especially in fields like healthcare, legal, hospitality, and local services. But the best way to make money in the long run is to use clean tactics that keep you and your clients safe.

With AI reshaping the landscape, much has shifted. The niche can still be lucrative—but your results hinge on your strategy and smart use of AI tools.

Review management and ORM are still in high demand in 2026.

✅ Builds trust & credibility
✅ Boosts local SEO
✅ AI-driven SERPs reference review sentiment
✅ Competitive edge for small businesses

It’s not just collecting reviews, monitoring and managing them strategically matters.

Are others combining ORM with proactive local SEO this year?
