Are relationship still worth it as a man

am starting to think being in a relationship is of no use.
you're finally waking up to the truth, and that's a good thing....

Unless both partners love each other to death and are 100% compatible with each other (and let's be honest, how many couples are 100% compatible with each other?) relationships are (as Kramer said) man-made prisons :)

When you're alone you have peace of mind and quiet, and you can do whatever you want with ALL of your money, and without anyone telling you that you shouldn't be eating cake at 2 AM if you feel like it. And you don't have to go to work for someone else to decide the route of the finances of the household for you.... Oh, and the cherry on top: you get to play video games all day long in your pijamas :D

Solitude is the gift that keeps on giving back...

Interesting takes here. End of the day, it really depends on the partner and your goals. Right person can level up your life, wrong one can drain it.

From a staunchly traditionalist perspective, relationships with women often bring more trouble than they’re worth, dragging men into a quagmire of emotional, financial, and social burdens.

Women, by their nature, are prone to irrationality and volatility, their moods swinging like pendulums, disrupting the stability a man needs to thrive. This emotional chaos demands constant attention, sapping a man’s energy and focus from his ambitions, whether it’s building a career or mastering his craft. A woman’s need for validation can feel like a leash, tethering a man to her whims and insecurities, leaving him little room to pursue his own path.

Financially, women are a drain. Modern relationships often require men to foot the bill for dates, gifts, and eventually, the exorbitant costs of marriage and family.

Women, encouraged by feminist rhetoric, expect provision while contributing little beyond complaints. Divorce, a looming threat, can strip a man of his wealth, with alimony and child support laws rigged to favor women, who weaponize the courts to bleed men dry. Even cohabitation risks financial ruin, as women often demand lavish lifestyles while offering minimal economic partnership.

Socially, women erode a man’s autonomy. They infiltrate male spaces, diluting the camaraderie and clarity of purpose found in all-male environments. A woman’s influence often leads to petty dramas, as their penchant for gossip and manipulation stirs conflict among friends or colleagues. Moreover, the modern woman, emboldened by progressive ideologies, rejects traditional roles, refusing to cook, clean, or nurture, yet still expects deference and chivalry. This imbalance leaves men subservient to ungrateful partners who contribute little beyond physical allure, which fades quickly.
The legal and cultural landscape further stacks the deck against men. False accusations of abuse or misconduct, easily leveled by vindictive women, can destroy reputations and livelihoods overnight. Society, steeped in gynocentrism, reflexively sides with women, branding men as oppressors regardless of evidence. Relationships thus become a high-risk gamble, where men face betrayal, entrapment, or abandonment with little recourse.
Ultimately, women’s hypergamous instincts drive them to seek “better” options, leaving loyal men discarded when their utility wanes. The traditionalist man, valuing independence and purpose, sees relationships with women as a trap—binding him to creatures who, by design or culture, prioritize self-interest over mutual respect, undermining the very foundations of a strong, patriarchal society.

I wonder what you offer
That's the problem. They usually don't offer shit. There's no benefit. Meanwhile, in their heads and in conversations with their male buds they already make up a whole fucking list of what you offer and why they want you.

if your experience with relationships has been mostly draining, it might be more about who you've been with or what you’ve been seeking. Being single is way better than being in a bad relationship. :)

aside from sex what else a young man can benefit in a relationship?
Well, companionship perhaps? Intimacy? I can list a tonne of benefits.

am starting to think being in a relationship is of no use.
I have never been in one but I think saying something like whether a relationship is useful or not in itself is a problematic question. Like I remember there is a book called "No man is an island". I have heard good things about it.

I personally feel they are a need and one cannot just live alone by themselves.

There’s a lot it really depends on what you're looking for in a partner.
If you're only looking for sex, then that's the kind of women you'll attract.
But if you're looking to build something meaningful with your woman, where you both create value for each other, you’ll realize there’s so much more: care, kindness, and someone to talk to about your planssomeone who motivates you, and whom you motivate in return.

I think relationship can even help you in work! I dunno why but I am more motivated to work and earn money in relationship. I think the contest is not bad or good. It is RISK! The risk of getting into a shitty relationship is actually pretty high. People nowadays don't respect morals (unfortunately especially females with these new advertisements), they don't forgive, they don't get along, they have shitty ideals... So much going on to stand a relationship.
