I found a couple of websites that allow you to post links in your profile. They are ********, but it isn't a standard HREF, it uses redirect. Is this still useful for SEO?

Yes, this redirect is useful for increasing traffic. Most of the blogger and webmaster are using tiny URL to submit their link in Twitter and this redirect URL help to increase visitors.

If its a 301 redirect it's good because it passes link juice.

You guys don't understand what he is asking.

In some profiles when you insert link in front of link appears redirect and I can say that these links are worthless because most of them breaks link and redirects you nowhere.

Here is an example of such a link:

    Code:
    /redirect?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Etwitter%2Ecom%2Fnino_puglisi&urlhash=gOsS&trk=pro_twit
Maybe we can get an SEO specialist to tell us if this really counts or not?

Nothing is better than this kind of backlink. If seriously, this link doesn't count.
