Are Redirects are considered Black Hat?

Hello ive heard from many people that redirects are considered black hat and you could get penalized. So my question is if they are considered blackhat and you have a few domains that you are not trying to rank in google,would those domains be good use for redirects?

Im talking about sending people to squeeze pages ,offer pages,landing pages , adult trailers etc,cam girls pages offers and so forth.

When you use many redirects the only thing that I can think of its pure manipulation

To put it simple: if you don’t care about a domain ranking, so whatever you want with it. If it’s ranking is affected by the redirects, that won’t matter to you anyways

You're better off putting high-quality articles on your pages with some links than redirecting them to your site nowadays. If you know what you're doing you can also cloak those pages and have them redirect users to your site, but show an article for google.

okay thanks i have many sites i am ranking im only going to use 2 domains for redirects that are not in google. Only plan to do sparingly.

They are definitely not black-hat from technical standpoint.

What is Blackhat is over-doing them. Redirecting many sites to your own to inject juice, that's blackhat.

I have a question for you,
If I redirect from domain X to domain Y on IG, domain Y is adults, is there is anyway for domain X to be blocked?
How? Why? How long?
Dont care about rating, just crap domains for affiliations.

it depends how the redirect is setup, for example if a meta refresh is set to 0 sec then its bad, but if you give i think at least 3 secs and make clear the user is being redirected, then its ok.
google has guidelines for redirects that are ok and which arent. just read the google ToS.
