Doing my research I have found 30 exact domain matchs with over 10k global searchs each. I am tempted to buy them and turn them into either micro niche sites or authority sites.. my question is, are niche sites still profitable?

    Thanks.

No not at all. Don't bother wasting your time with them just send me the list and I'll give you some money for your trouble :p

In all seriousness have you done your research correctly? 30 keywords with 10K global searches a month with medium to low competition sounds too good to be true. Did you change the setting from broad to exact? and have you looked at the competition to see how hard/long it will be before you start ranking on the first page let alone in the top 5

Call it niche or what ever sites, but without traffic, you won't make money.

Yes they are profitable but I would advice you to make just 1 site and merge all the MNS sites into it. This will save ur money buying the domain and also you will rank easily as the site will gain authority after some months.

I use a program made by a member here. They are actualy low to medium competition. I have a plan for me and a buddy to feed each site 1-2 articles a day. Probaly outsoure a couple writers for this task. And no people don't pm me your article services cause you'll get a very nasty reply back in your inbox.

I get tired of people spamming me their article writing services. If I wanted to use it I'd use it without their spam. Don't call me a asshole either pal.

OP, if you planning to create a single page site and ranking them please refrain. It would help you only if you keep on adding content periodically and leave the backlinks unspammed...

Works great if your planning to build mns sites in the same niche, but what if the niches are completely unrelated? Is there a workaround that to maintain relevance?

It depends how long hes planning to have them ranking for. If he just wants to rank it quick, make some money and then let it get slapped, 1 page sites can still work for low competition keywords (it just wont survive the updates). Google is fine with a new site having a single page + some pages (privacy, disclaimer, etc.), what they seem to not be okay with is a site that stays that size for months while backlinks grow, but it takes them a while before they flag this. This strategy is only good if he knows how to rank sites in about a month or quicker though.

We are planning multiple page sites with one or two articles on each page.

I have a niche adult site with a great domain name and the traffic is pretty solid.

They are! The only people telling you otherwise are lazy and trying to take advantage of a newbie.
