I agree, informational posts are not monetized very well. Give out a free book or small course, get your clients's email, then spam them (to death xD) with value until they buy. Or announce that you are doing a webinar, give them useful value but enroll them on a next more in depth course and get them to buy it.
 
Yeah, pure informational traffic converts less now
I focus more on intent based content and adding strong CTAs or lead magnets instead of relying only on ads.

You can try with capture emails (lead magnet > sell later), push to comparison/review pages, display ads (Ezoic/Mediavine-type), build topical authority and sell your own product/service later
 
yeah, doesn't work the way they used to before. do more into email funnels, lead magnets, and contextual offers now instead of just slapping display ads on them
 
Yeah info posts harder now, I usually push affiliate funnels or email optins first, then monetize with CPA/offers, not ads only.
