Are forums not relevant now?

Hi, I recently went through different forums to place my ad. Most of them were empty, maybe 1 topic appears there per week, but most forums look empty, although it is clear that topics were actively created earlier. Can we say that forums are not relevant now? And who cares, I placed an ad on 12 forums but did not receive 1 client)

I've got many social media profiles and most of them were organically grown.

One of my X accounts has 400k followers. In a week I'm lucky if 50 to 100 people will click a link I post.

It's similar with reddit, instagram and fartbook.
Tiktok will get you a lot of traffic but it's absolutely useless !

Maybe your niche's forum of choice is Reddit.

forums are still relevant but it's extremely niche-dependent i reckon. BHW is still highly-relevant for IM. i'm a part of numerous stock trading forums that are still very active. Reddit is a glorified mass forum and it's relevant, being one of the most trafficked sites in America. hell i just checked and Shroomery.org is still up and kicking - noted, in case i need to run ads there. forums are still relevant, but it ain't the 00's anymore that's for sure! best of luck to you.

Honestly, its hard to find bhw on google, unless it is a specific querry. All that google wants these days is redshit.

Well it depends 100% on the niche you are attacking.
BHW for example it's very good for proxy,marketing and other stuff; most probably it's the only forum available with large numbers of active users daily/monhtly/yearly.

Generally forums are dead due to creation of discord server that simplify the process of forums creation ( in terms of cost it's free, build a forum it's not free ). Maintenance also; telegram too, it's a big competitors, 70/80% of the users are moved into these platforms for mulitple reasons.

Yeah, most forums aren’t as active as before. Socialmedia and Discord groups took over. Maybe try niche communities on Reddit or Facebook groups for better results.

it would really depend on the forum and community
Some stay oldschool and stick to forums
look at BHW for example, its super active.
while others, migrated to a more modern platform like reddit, discord and co.
