Are engagement groups still effective?

I used to use engagement pods, but they seem dead. Is anyone still seeing results from them, or are they useless after recent algorithm updates?

Pods rarely move the needle anymore unless the content is strong on its own. Real engagement and watch time matter way more now.

Most people have moved on from pods; authentic community building and genuine interactions are where the real growth happens these days.

Yes, but you have to make sure you are getting users who dont have botted followers when they comment on your post since the algorithm can detect if engagement group users have botted followers, and it can limit the reach of the post. Look into some threads on engagement groups, and you will see what I mean by that.

It seems like relying on shortcuts isn’t paying off anymore focusing on consistency and understanding what your audience actually wants seems way more effective.

Still some value if you pick tight, real pods but reach & engagement drops lately make it less reliable than before. Better mix pods with quality content & consistent posting

I wouldn't rely on that. It's like paying microworkers to like your posts. Their accounts have a solid history of suspicious behavior, liking hundreds or thousands of random posts accessed through direct links, commenting in different languages, following completely unrelated accounts from different countries, languages and niches...I wouldn't be surprised if those accounts are flagged by the algo

That's not what an engagement pod is lil bro. That has nothing to do with anything discussed.

Platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn have begun using AI to detect inauthentic, repetitive, or mass-distributed activity. Algorithms can easily pick up on common comments or large amounts of engagement from the same group of unrelated users.

I also feel they are no longer as effective as before. Recently, I've tried using groups to increase connections, but the engagement rate has been very low.
