Feels like crypto payments are not well used, why? cos this is the easiest pay option that you could think of. Platforms like Bitget Pay are stepping in, letting you send and receive cash in snap and quick transactions. With more options for using different cryptocurrencies, it’s becoming way easier for everyone, from casual users to businesses.

As more people try out these payment methods, we might see a big change in how we do money. What do you think about using crypto pay for everyday transactions?

Most coins aren't as fast as credit cards still. I tap my phone and Jersey Mike's hands me my sub.

People like credit card protection. What happens when you get scammed for $100 in crypto? With American Express I just go on the app and reverse it. That's what consumers think.

It'll take Apple Pay to adopt crypto to start seeing more use of it.

There are still lot of charges and fees with most crypto payment platforms.

You can actually sort of do this already. Coinbase has a great system where they give you a virtual and physical card (with rewards) and just add it to Apple Pay. Quite convenient for people with lots of crypto.

Yep, it is already happening.
I have a few affiliate companies that offer crypto payments and thats fine.
I believe they have increased sales by adding crypto methods to their sevices.

I don't think we'll ever see mass adoption of cryptos like USDT, SOL, TRX to the point that you can use only crypto for all your everyday transactions. At least not in most 1st world countries, regulation probably won't allow it

At most, I think we can expect to pay using a cryptocurrency invented by your country's government, which is not going to make any practical difference compared to how we transact already.

Fees, fees, fees.

Knock the fees down to something reasonable and it will grow a little but there is nothing more convenient that using your card, checking and paying your bill online and not have to pay any fees at all.

Plus it fluctuates a ton and is like paying with puts and calls on the CBOT.

Stabil it is not as a daily use financial instrument.

No matter what Crypto never be the first option for regular usage I mean in the modern phase some stores accept Bitcoin does not it will next change the era of usage of Card payments (Safe & Secure). People like me who are in their 50’s will never want to ruins their savings for uncertain gains and non-regulated crypto things.

Its the same as we prefer solid GOLD over a crypto ( we always prefer slow but sure returns)

Same like we can't change the. Card payments era to some fuzagi digital crypto things (which is unacceptable for 95% of people around the world)

Crypto & AI can't be the future (in short no matter what Robots can't rule humans (Digital money things can't run the world)

I don't see it ever replacing credit card payments online as the go-to. Not, in my generation, or indeed the next.
Namely, because of the reasons outlined by the previous posters.

It's use will continue to only go one way though (up!), and crypto certainly isn't going anywhere, ever. We're long past concerns of 'fad'.

One thing for sure, more people will put some of their net worth into crypto year on year. Providing it's a small total of your net worth, there really isn't any reason not too. Investing in BTC short-term is super volatile, but if you buy it and forget about it, it's definitely going to be worth more in 20yrs time than it is now, I'd say the certainty of that is close to 99%.

it's the most comfortable for a lot of people, actualy for me too
cuz it's so fast and no need for other confirmation
as i am closed to crypto, and use it mostly, more than cards
so it's our future
now it's good way to spend some money and don't pay taxes for everything
but firts aim is comfort

You raise a good point about the potential of crypto payments! While the technology is promising, adoption has been slow. Many people hesitate due to concerns about volatility and the complexity of wallets.

Platforms like Bitget Pay do make transactions easier, but we need more businesses willing to accept crypto without hefty conversion fees. If we can combine user-friendly platforms with strong security and clear benefits for merchants, we might see a significant shift.

I like the idea of it, in fact I accept only crypto payments for services I render at the moment. But the primary challenge with this is country regulations or total bans in some countries. Scams are also a thing as people are weary of getting scammed on crypto so they prefer traditional means of payments. Whether crypto payments will get bigger than what it is today would largely be dependent on how receptive countries become to the industry.

Although many people are using it, but it is still not officially recognized and complete system, a lot of fraudulent things still often happen

In my country people prefer to pay using online transfers (from banks, of course) instead of credit card. And I visited other countries with similar situation. Just take your phone, instantly transfer money for anyone and that's it. No fees.

It's not crazy to think one day those instant bank transfers will be replaced for instant crypto transfers. Even for taxi rides (example). Especially USDT or stablecoins.

However, that's not something to happen today or in the short term, especially in highly regulated economies. Of course banks and MasterCard/Visa will want something in exchange, at least they can still be used to buy crypto with some fees.

From what I read about Bitget pay, it supports both apple & Google pay.
