I AM people, and I don't prefer videos... never have, and never will. Unless they are Jackie Chan movies when my man Jackie had been at his best in the 80s... and also some music videos that remind me of my childhood in the 80s and 90s. That's the only time I prefer videos, otherwise I don't give a shit about them and that despite of the fact that I don't like reading, either. But when I read I feel less manipulated than when I watch videos, and that probably helps with my hate towards videos

There one caveat though that you are missing. Actually two.
First, google owns you website , sorta , because it owns the traffic.
Second, google and YouTube are same company.

No, Facebook and Twitter can't be labeled as "blogs". A blog is generally run by a single person/team as a content-based website. Facebook and Twitter don't create their own content, they run on UGC.

Totally agree. Also technically a blog is a static page and facebook and twitter pages are dynamic pages, pages created on the fly by plugging in data. So one facebook dynamic page creates billions of pages.

Twitter is known as a "microblogging" platform.

Maybe the entire website can't be called a blog, but individual profiles are technically blogs. They're regularly updated with content which blogs are.

Twitter is a microblogging platform, sure but it is not a blog per se, which is what the OP alluded to in the post above.
