Are Auto-Blogs still in?

I was using "Massive Passive Profits" for some time as an autoblogging software, thinking that there was nothing else like it on the market, as the sales letter presented a totally unique concept to me, and I bought into it... all the wiser now though.

I moved onto WP-Robot, and it's flexibility is pretty good, but what I was doing, after I decided I wanted my websites to be of a higher quality nature, was letting WP-Robot scrape the content from article directories, and also images from Flickr. I'd go in and manually reword the content, as I have a knack with writing, so it appeared to be original. You could always try that approach, assuming you're still in good with Google and your autoblogs haven't been de-indexed or anything.

I use WPTB and I can set up a huge autoblog in about 10 mins, but I have a custom set up.

Yeah, i use wp-robot and CTR themes best combo.
 
Yes it is working, but are people making money with them? This is the real question... ;)

it isnt $100 per month lol its $297 or $247 with a discount through me or other affiliates although I offer a bonus no other affiliate can offer!
 
They do fine in terms of ranking, just make sure they look legitimate. Also, don't strictly rely on Adsense, incorporate some other monetizing methods.
 
i never was able to setup one successful running autoblogs

i hope i can do it someday
 
Panda update doesnt hit the autoblogs.

Then i got the entire site DEINDEXED like an idiot. I really shouldnt have of been auto posting so many articles a day. Had something like 28k indexed pages. I just put up 4 autoblogs last weekend. They are already indexed and getting traffic without any external seo. I added an image, got some decent exact match keyword domain names (not aged), and used the genesis/streamline theme combo. The only other thing I've done besides auto pilot is occasionally add some meta tags to a post. But I must say my bounce rate is horrible. I flooded the top of the page with adsense, maybe that's why.

is there any plugin that can post video from all over the place? not just youtube
 
I'd have to agree that the death of auto-blogging is greatly exaggerated.

I'm not an expert, I'm actually fairly new compared to most people on her.
I've been finding that my niche sites that are quasi-autoblogged still seem to be doing quite well.

It's not completley automatic, my system is usually 1) Autoblog to draft 2) Synonimize to at least 30% 3) Read through the synonimized article and manually correct any mistakes 4) Throw up a nice big image for the marquee 5) Throw in some Adsense 6) Profit!

I'm also using this system to generate content to shop my blog around to offline clients in my niche as display advertisers.
