Hi everybody,
I am hearing different opinions about adding affiliate buttons along the content.
Given that all affiliate links are set as nofollow, do they hurt SEO?
What about comparison tables with affiliate links in it?
Does Google really hate them?
If yes, how many buttons are recommended inside an article (or not recommended at all)?
I would be glad to know from your experience.

I think it's not effect about the SEO. I think you can just put the affiliate link in your article and link your visitor to website by your affiliate link.
Normally affiliate link will become unfollow and will effect your SEO a bit because Google robot hate it.
Comparison table, I think this will effect if you insert the affiliate link inside it. Better don't insert affiliate link inside it.
2-3 buttons of affiliate link or affiliate button insert in the article that I suggest for.

Hope can help you and correct me if I'm wrong. :)

Thx Exa-Kent for your insight.
So I have a comparison table with affiliate links inside many articles. If I am not wrong, they are not bad if I remove the affiliate links, correct?
After the Medical Update, do you of sudden traffic loss on affiliate website because of too many links (maybe 8/10 in each article)?
Thx

Affiliate links through major program networks cannot negatively influence your SEO because they do not get indexed past the network. This means search engines will not pass any link equity to the receiving page (which is what boosts a page’s ranking authority and helps the page rank higher for relevant search queries.
